I was going to wait for hockey season to start this, but whatever. Patience is not one of my virtues. I'll do the rest of the MLB regular season and then transition into NHL.
I've been crunching numbers and making paper bets, alongside real bets, for what seems like an eternity now. It's now time to apply what little bit of theory I've learned.
This will be an aggressive experiment at first, using a flat 5% unit amount, updated daily (or, during very busy days, after 5 bets have been settled, to limit the daily % of exposure when things turn sour).
Plays are based on the Pinny lean principle, although I'm using a slightly different recipe for baseball.
I'll be betting at Matchbook exclusively. For the sake of fairness, I will grade my bets and units won/lost using the closest line I can find at a book that accepts U.S. players. To simplify my accounting though, I'll just put my actual $ balance right below the units figure.
Plays start today.
