*** ALL POSTERS that Enter either or Both Contests ... MUST .... MUST .... have at least 50 POSTS by the time the CFB or NFL Season Starts !
> in the past we have let it go, But NOT this time.
>> We Believe this isn't fair to the everyday regular RX Poster, that someone out of the blue comes in, makes like 2-3 posts
and only shows up to make their Picks.
* This isn't a hard thing to do ... just to make a few Posts on a forum

Going to go with needing at least 25 Posts to ENTER the Contests, and Must have at least 50 Posts by Contest End

Maybe take $2,000 from the prize pool and pay $1,000 to leader at week 4 and leader at week 8

every year people bitch about the deadline
with the rate people hit in lvh supercontest, do people really need to ask why we have the same deadline? it's plain and simple. i don't want to play against picks from the supercontest. i want to play against ppl from therx

I was talking about CFB not necessarily the NFL. But if you think it's simple to win random capping contests by following the supercontest plays (never know which plays to follow BTW) you're crazy.

But in that regard, I worry about my plays not other people's plays. It makes things easy.

Talk about Copy Cats, The True Westgate Contest has a submit time of 11:00 AM.

I have Done it for 5 years and the picks, can be viewed by 12:00 for all contestants.

We have a lock time of 1:00 PM. So won't we have Copy Cats???

Thats gives me a whole hour, to play or fade from the big contest if I desire. I would like to see a lock time for the RX to be 11:00 AM, just like the big one in Vegas. If you play the Thursday Game obviously this wouldn't matter.

The NFL contest has a 3pm Eastern Dealine, which makes it 12 Noon West coast.
Usually the Westgate will release Around 3pm Eastern ( 12 Noon PT )
anyone that wants to take a chance and wait until the last minute/second to get their picks in here and Chance of Not getting them in-time Here
have Fun ....

Also last season I believe they released the picks on-time maybe 50% of the time.
Plenty of weeks it was past Noon time

Oh Ok. I just saw this, wasn't quite sure.

7.
Contestants must submit their weekly selections by 4 pm Eastern time each Saturday afternoon, except when contestant wishes to use any game that starts before the deadline. If a contestant wishes to use any game that is scheduled to start before this deadline, ( ie, Wed, Thur or Sat game ) their 5 weekly selections must be submitted prior to the start of those games. Any pick set using an early game that is submitted late will be charged with a loss for any game that starts before the Sat 4pm deadline. Any contestant who fails to submit weekly selections by 4:00:59 pm Eastern time on Saturday will earn zero points for that week. This time deadline will be strictly enforced.

even if you don't win, it only takes one player to make it into the t10 to ruin things for everyone else imo. it's not just cheating me. it's cheating everyone else out of an opportunity to make it into the prize slot.
and when the contest is nearing the last 5 weeks, it only needs a quick take at the leaderboard to see who will likely do well.

I think you should worry about putting in your five plays each week and not worry about other people's plays and where they get them from.
