Tiger is pissed

Some Dublin paper printed up some nude photos yesterday of a woman they claimed to be Tigers wife, and trashing American golfers wives. The photos were not of Tiger's wife and Tiger is pissed. Everytime Tiger gets pissed or someone makes a comment about him he that he does not appriciate, he coinsidently destroys the critic/opponent. WGC match play first round where he won 9 & 8 against the guy who made a comment about his driving and when he played with Faldo in the British. Shit on both these guys.

I dont know if Tiger's emotion is enough to carry the team but is something to consider.

I swear I have no idea why I ever post a play or information.

I'm reading every comment in this thread as I'm sure others are as well. Your comments are very much appreciated

I think Furyk is good value to handle Dimarco at -150 in overall points scored. While both will probably play all five rounds, Furyk is playing with Tiger while Dimarco is paired with the high ball striking Mickelson, which doesn't bode well in the winds of Ireland.

the US team is far inferior if you look at the names on each side.

US has players like Vaughn Taylor, JJ henry, Zach Johnson, BRett Wetteriech. And their alternates are verplank and cink. Not exactly all world players.

The european team seems to be loaded with big names. However, the US has done poorly in the recent past with teams that had big name players who choked. So i hope the new younger no-name type players will be more motivated to win this thing.

with that being said i will have money on every match dimarco is involved with. I hope they team him up with chad campbell because i think that duo would sweep through any team.

Verplank is the real killer, since it's him or worse as the US 8th man.

I expect to see furyk/woods, toms/campbell, dimarco/mickelson. I wouldn't mind campbell/dimarco and mickelson/toms.... but I think the first pairings are the best chance of getting a lead going into sunday. I think the first two days are about even.

The U.S. is at a disadvantage on about 8 of the singles matches...so I've gotta lean to europe. Not sure if I'll bet it, yet, though.

I am on Europe.

The current weather forecast is extremely poor. Yesterday the US had a very strange practice, with all 12 players starting each hole 150 yards out.

Whilst I accept that playing too much in strong wind is not good for most swings, I feel this was a blunder by Lehman as the wind is due to get stronger, plus how much damage can hitting 14 drivers do to your swing?

To me this practice session suggested the USA captain at least is overly fearful of the weather conditions.

If his pairings aren't set in stone it makes sense to me. All the team members can drive the ball, but short iron play is the only way to beat the europeans. He might be matching accurate drivers with players with good proximity to the pin on short irons under windy conditions. Leaving it up to putting and dividing them accordingly.

I am seeing Mich, +197 against tiger for points, Is there talk that Mich may not play all the matches Friday and Sat? Seems like a good price with Tigers Ryder cup record?

Thought I'd add a bit of information about Tiger Woods' Ryder Cup record for those interested and may not know.

Woods is 7-11-2 in his four appearences in the Ryder Cup. He's 2-1-1 in singles, 2-5-1 in alternate shot and 3-5 in best ball.

Hope this information helps a little.

469 Phil Mickelson + Chris DiMarco pk holes -125
470 Darren Clarke + Lee Westwood pk holes +100

9/22/2006 2:45 AM Mickelson/DiMarco vs Clarke/Westwood vs Tie
471 Phil Mickelson + Chris DiMarco +110

Not sure who to take overall, but I like value from the homeboys: Irishmen Clarke +1045 and Harrington+705 to be Europe's top scorers. Harrington will be playing for the memory of his late father like Tiger and Darren Clarke's wife past away earlier this year. Also if anybody is calm playing against Tiger it would be Clarke, remember the first match play tournament where Tiger was expected to win while Clarke lit up a cigar in between 18's and still smoked him.

Speaking of value: Fourball matchup like the tie at +645 between Woods/Furyk vs. Harrington/Montgomerie. For Monty he will have people rooting for him alongside a native son and Tiger can birdie all he wants but the Europeans only need one man per hole to halve him.

Beware of the Spaniards, they are tough together. Don't like the -1 1/2, but like Garcia/Olazabal to win at -145.

Strange odds on the last pairing. At pick Clarke/Westood are +100, I rather take them at +135 to win the match. It pains me fade a Gator, sorry CoachLT, DeMarco, but I will fade Phil all weekend.

Thinking like a baseball doubleheader. If you can bet the Foursome matches go against the Americans who won the Fourball matches if they play again, especially if they play versus somebody from who didn't play in Fourball. Going against fatigue of playing possibly 36 holes vs. fresh legs from the European side. In foursome, they will be playing alternate shots, so a guy like Tiger can't hurt you as much. Too bad I will be working during Foursomes, but look forward to those matches on Saturday.

Best of luck to everyone.

PS: I already have naked pictures of Tiger's wife and he knows those pictures been released a few years ago so don't buy into the playing for the wife motivation hype.

FWIW: 471. Take the chance on the no tie.
