A regular game in the middle of September they spend 20 minutes on a review and what did they spend here 20 seconds--whether it was or wasn't justice was not given to Az on the review.
Overall, a TERRIBLY officiated game on both sides.

His arm went forward, but he lost the ball before that. Yes the review was weak however.

Looked like the ball stayed in his hand and he pushed it forward-still looked like a pass. Would have loved to see a 35 yd jump ball to Fitz with game on the line

Believe the ball was hit, then pinned. Warner's arm then went forward. I don't have Tivo, wish I did for this play. Very weak how it ended.

Wrong, the defender got his hand on the ball but Warner pushed his hand through it and pushed the ball forward and then out. That's a pass.

How do the refs not at least review the call??? Outrageous in a championship game. I am crying because I wanted to Arizona to win even though I played Pitt on the ML and I teased Arizona up. I hit the middle and I am crying.

In order for it to be ruled an incomplete pass, the QB must have clear possession of the football when the arm is coming forward. Ball was knocked loose while Warner's arm was still going back, ball was pinned when arm was coming forward, therefore there was not clear possession when the arm was moving forward, resulting in an "empty hand" and a fumble. Fumble was clear as day.

Whether or not the play was a fumble isn't the issue in my mind... The fact that they didn't even take a look at it is the injustice here.

It was clear as day, right? That's why we are hear arguing about it.

God forbid people think a questionable call that decided the Super Bowl should at least get a review... Come on now Hines.

BC people THINK they know the rules, but they obviously don't. Read the rules, learn the rules, then watch the play back. Clear as day. In order for it to be ruled incomplete, Warner has to have clear possession of the football when his arm is coming forward and he clearly does not have clean possession of the football, it's not even debatable that he didn't have his typical grip on that ball. That makes it a fumble - clear as day. He had partial control of the ball at best, but people see the arm coming forward and the ball going forward so they say incomplete.
