Just comparing talent levels. Only real comparison would be recruiting rankings coming out of high school, and that would be subjective as well.

Realistically though, UCLA will get more talent than Wisconsin. That is a hard point to argue the other way.

Either way, it does not matter, I was just applauding their defensive performance and coaching preparation. Something that gets overlooked in today's me-first, Sportscenter highlight reel type performances.

True Viejo, and they have an excellent coach as well. Personally, I think the talent disparity between GMU and UConn is too great, but I will be happy (and very surprised) if the Patriots could win, money or not.

I agree. It was clear from the outset that Calipari was outcoached by Howland. I mentioned in an earlier post that the key was whether UCLA's defense could dictate the tempo, and whether Memphis' playground style would succeed. Unfortunately for me, I thought Memphis' talent was enough to get them the W, even with a strong defensive performance by UCLA. But, that's why they play the games.

UCLA did a great job today, no doubt...but that was some bad basketball, especially by Memphis...UCLA had the heart and Memphis was just blah...pisses me off 'cause I had Memphis in my office pool...
