That was 2 great football games yesterday

I don't understand all the people who keep saying the quality of the product has gone down.
I think the quality is better then ever.

Now it's certainly a different brand of football from 20 years ago buts it's still quality.

I don't think I have ever seen a better opening Saturday playoff then what we saw yesterday.

Two very different games but both exciting.

Everyone always talks about how great the nba playoffs are but I don't see it.

In the nba you can practically predict every outcome in the first round.

In the nfl you have no idea

It would be nice to see them go into SEA and silence the crowd to the exits.

I agree. Both awesome games, no matter who you were on. Even the night before the 2 bowl games were phenomenal as well.

FH, you been over here at theRX a lot lately....which usually means you got temporarily ran off another forum for something you said, that you were busted on.

The Saints playing in Seattle a few weeks ago, helps them tremendously next week.

Like college? Really? Damn...You guys are smoking some good shit! I don't see it like college at all.

Yes, the game has definitely changed from years past. But I don't think it's any "less" entertaining. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, of course, but you're CLEARLY in the minority given the ever increasing popularity of the NFL here in the U.S. Nothing else even comes close.

As for the linebackers and running backs, Judge...You're gonna see firsthand today in the S.F/Gbay game WHY you need good running backs. Their role has changed over the years but to act like they are meaningless is complete BS. And Linebackers do more than ever in today's game (stop the run, pass coverage, run whoever down from sideline to sideline, etc...

If you guys hate today's game that much then don't watch it...Personally I have no clue WTF you're all complaining about...

The NFL is still a great product.

1) I wish PI resulted in 15 yards not a spot foul.
2) The "unnecessary roughness" calls are making defense extremely tough to play these days.

I hate, absolutely despise, the "new" NFL. The Saints/Eagles and SF/GB games were much, much better than the others.

Note that the NFL is going to announce they are adding another wild card team in each conference soon.
