That Canada / Russia game was crazy!!

Thought we were dead in the water until they pull out that miracle to tie it in the last 5 seconds. That Russian player that went for the glory and tried to score the empty netter but ended up icing it with 35 seconds left must not be feeling so good at the moment.

Was an amazing game. Feel kinda bad for the Russian kids, they played very well. If they had either a) not iced it at the end or b) not tried to fall on it with 5 seconds left, they'd have won. Much credit to Canada for not giving up. Well done. I'm sure the books were cheering for Russia... since i'm sure at least 80% of the wagers and 80% of futures are on Canada.

coundt be happier with the result as was on russia +2.5, but have futures on Canada at +125.

I agree that was calm most kids you would think would just whack the puck at the goal in a situation like that and he just smoothly dekes to his backhand and puts it in a wide open goal. Awesome!

They've been showing all the games on the NHL network.
