Thanks Bart. You are a true gentleman sir and it was a pleasure playing with you. The cruise sounded great, the one downside to the prize was that the tourney entry was NOT for the main event.
I was concerned about not being able to attend as well and contemplated going for second place cash. The contest description mentioned the cruise "or equivalent cash value" so I felt pretty good about winning even if I could not attend.
I was looking forward to the cruise but my wife was due to give birth in late January so I thought I may have a problem. What is REALLY funny about this is that I was playing in the Party Poker Million tourney for a cruise and doing very well when my wife's WATER BROKE. There I am, late in the tourney chatting with Matt24 and she's like, "it's time." I said damn, grabbed the bag and wife and hopped in the truck.
I'm now a proud father and happy that I cannot attend the cruise. It does suck that I abandoned the Party tourney and still finished 160 out of 2100 while being blinded off during delivery. I'm certain I was on my way to a cruise but I was blessed with a little one instead.
