I laid 65% of my bankroll today on the Eagles at +1.5. As you know they lost by 2. What a bad beat and what timing when I had so much on the line.

I am 8-3 on the year but breaking even after this game. I will take a 2 week rest.

Actually the Philly coach lost it on the Kickoff for his team.

Without that TD, Dallas would of been stuck with only a FG at Halftime.

That TD gave Dallas the confidence they needed to keep them in the game, and put them up at the half w/o doing much on offense.

They tried it last year on the Cowboy's and it worked.

Guess he forgot that The Tuna probably saw the film.

Tex, that play gave Dallas the momentum for the rest of the game. However, Eagles should have still won it.

The smart play was Phil IMO.

Dallas got a lucky return on an ill advised opening kickoff onside attempt & a long return late for the FG.

It happens.

I thought for sure that the Eagles would beat this Cowboy team and I was sure wrong as well. I did not bet as much of my bank roll as you did but it hurt just the same.

If they played again tomorrow at the same line I would still go with the Eagles. Dallas is riding a wave of luck at this moment.

Seems like this year more teams are staging comebacks to the point that no lead is safe anymore, and even if they don't win the game they cover the spread. For every unhappy camper, somewhere there is a happy one.

That Bill Parcells and Bobby Knight, and one other big name coach, whose name escapes me, all coached at Army. Some say this is why Parcells and Knight have a similar coaching style. By that I mean they are both disciplinarians. They also seem to have that ability to lead. Whether or not they learned this at Army is supposition.
