funny thing is that i was watching a Mccain documentary and i caught the ending part of his speech at the republican convention.

I am gonna say this and people may fall out of their seats. It was just as powerful as Obama's speech back in 2004.

I kinda liked it. (and i hate john mccain more than most on this forum)

But the reason was the speech was a complete opposite of all the filth and trash that the republicans had run through. The same stuff you refer to now. That seedy ass name calling, so much so that one of the best political speeches got lost in a wash of trailer park jokes and sarah palin lunacy!

I don't agree with the tax bill part, but everything else.

I am an independent (sort of a Libertarian, but there is no name for how I roll) who was considering McCain until about April or so. If he had done what you said, I would have been undecided up until the last minute, instead of leaving him, and becoming a business consultant for the Obama campaign.

McCain showed his ass, and played himself. He is rich, though, so he will be fine.

McCain allowed it to happen, though. I hope the old McCain comes back and starts attacking those like Fox and Rove that steered him in the wrong direction. He was a great man back in 2000, and he can be again if he repudiates these Neocon loonies, and offers any assistance to our next President.
