...Economy !
Today: Another indication of our strength and the success of Bushenomics !!

The government said nonfarm payrolls grew by 337,000 in October, the most in six months and well above the consensus forecast of about 175,000. Job creation in previous months was revised sharply higher. September's job growth was raised to 139,000 vs. the original estimate of 96,000. August's gain was boosted to 198,000.

Despite an economy that was in a downward spiral when Clinton left office; despite an attack on our country's financial center - and even as this administration began an unprecendented crackdown on securities, accounting and tax fraud at several major U.S. corporations (yes, that's right - it took a Republican adminstration to finally crack down on corporate greed and fraud from the 1990s) - despite all this, we have a very robust economy !!

Bush will go down as perhaps the greatest president in our country's history.

Bushenomics Works !! Four more years - YEAH!

Oscar .. your last name is very accurate! "The greatest President in the history of this country???"

Wow ...

* lets see ... this country is officially bankrupt and under Bush we have a Federal Deficit which continues to skyrocket out of control

* We are bogged down in a war that has no out for this country and is running right now in the neighborhood of 300 billion cost to this country .... and with over 1100 dead and counting ... and that is on top of the 100,000 dead Iraqi innocent civilians since March of 2003 due to our bombing runs in this country

* Corrupt corporate accounting practices have exploded under Bush .. hmm, in the fall of 1995 Clinton wanted to crack down on this issue but Newt Gingrich led a veto against Clinton .. shall we bring up the names of Enron and Halliburton .. Enron in particular with tight Bush buddy "Kenny Boy" Lay at the control ! ... and now we have the Halliburton investigation underway

Bush has Zippo diplomatic skills and Cheney calls the shots on final decisions .. to call Bush the "Greatest President in the history of this country" is living proof that one should not post when one is legally drunk

Keep up the hate speech guys, and you'll never see the White House again in your lifetimes, and the Senate will be 60-40 next time. Soon thereafter, abortion will be overturned, we'll be drilling for our own oil, and there will be NO ENTITLEMENT PROGRAMS!!!!!!!!

Y'all can go ahead and gloat.

Reminds very much of when country veered dramatically right back in 72 in the middle of the war. And look what that did for Nixon and Agnew. Country will shift the other way come 2008.

Much glossed over fact: No sitting president ever had as many votes cast against him as in this last election.

"(yes, that's right - it took a Republican administration to finally crack down on corporate greed and fraud from the 1990's)"

Yes, that's right.....and they replaced it with a whole new spectrum of corruption and greed of thier own......Cheney/Halliburton leads the list....

My sentiment echoes what has already been stated by doc and Judge.....

I'm curious to know....if Bush is the greatest president in the history of this country.....where would Kennedy rank on this list.....or Reagan.....or some other president whose general popularity wasn't measured by a mere 3 million votes from being a coin toss?

Cussin it:

Good commentary!

Mr "Christian" supports Same Sex Unions .... what really kills me is Bush has the almost identical viewpt as Kerry on this issue! If he is "so moral" one has to wonder how 21% of Gays that voted cast a vote for Bush ...

Lets talk reality in Term #2:

A. This victory has given him a mandate to continue his policies of the past 4 years -- Almost immediately, President Bush began to use the word, "mandate" in his vocabulary. He even stated that this election had given him "political capital" and he intended to use it! Bush now has reason to pound a Republican-controlled Congress and the American people for full implementation of all his policies, claiming that this election validated everything he had done these past four years.

B. This victory means he can now immediately proceed with his escalation of the Iraqi war without having to wait for the courts to decide who the victor really was. The President can continue his disastrous war in Iraq with startling impunity. Having already committed a force which is too small by 50%, the President can now throw even more troops into this battle. If you remember President Lyndon Johnson committing over 500,000 troops to Vietnam, you will recall that he took this action only after winning a 1964 landslide victory at the polls over Goldwater; even though President Johnson won this victory by promising to keep our soldiers out of Vietnam, he threw them fully into battle less than one year later. Historians now know that the decision to commit a half-million American troops to Vietnam was made many years before Johnson lied to the American people during the election of 1964 The need for a draft is becoming clearer by the day, as our existing troops are too few in number to win the battle, and are getting more sick by the day from Depleted Uranium. Therefore, do not be too surprised to hear one day that Bush has ordered a significant draft; already, plans have been laid just for this purpose.
C. This victory allows the President to demand that Congress pass every tiny part of his repressive domestic "anti-terror" agenda. Expect to hear demands from President Bush that Congress implement every single "recommendation" from the whitewash 9/11 Commission. These recommendations erode our Constitutional guarantees and personal liberties to such a degree that, when the planned panics begin to hit, we will have no more freedoms that the poor Russian people had under the terror reign of Josef Stalin, or the German people had under the repressive dictatorship of Adolf Hitler.

But, why should we be too surprised, since the Skull & Bones secret society of which Bush is a member is an identical secret society to Hitler's Thule Society?

D. This victory will give President Bush the political muscle to fight and to defeat every attempt by dissident groups to get concrete answers to the many questions still remaining about 9/11 and its aftermath. Prior to the election, dissident groups like "911 truth" (http://www.911truth.org/) seemingly were having success in finally getting their case publicly heard that too much has been hidden about the 9/11 attacks. ABC News even posted an acknowledgement of "the existence of alternative research and popular doubts about what really happened on September 11" (http://www.911truth.org/article.php?story=20041101142248872)

Additionally, the New York Attorney General accepted a complaint demanding that a criminal inquiry be held "into the many still unsolved crimes of September 11, 2001 over which he has jurisdiction." (http://www.911truth.org/article.php?story=20041028220743555).

You can expect the White House to now squash any and all such investigations. The official false story of 9/11 will forever stand.

Now, all voices like this one which can threaten the President legally will be silenced and/or muzzled.

The Dems refuse to back off - and they continue to lose and lose and lose!

Please! Keep it up! Don't change!!

A 60 seat majority in the Senate would mean a solid Republican domination and the final destruction of all vestiges of the Great Society!

You people are so stupid it's unbelievable! But then, the Republicans were that dumb after WWII, they wouldn't change, and wham! Democrat domination that changed the face of the nation and the world!

Now it's our turn!

bblight: Actually that is not 100% accurate ....

Stupid people love Bush
<TT>Will Durst - WorkingForChange.com

09.09.04 - "Stupid people love Bush" new study proves According to the prestigious Southern California think tank, The Gluton Group, stupid people prefer President George W Bush over Senator John Kerry by a 4-to-1 margin. As Chief Resident Dr. Louis Friend characterized the results of the research, "the less intelligent you are, the more you like Bush." This landmark study, conducted over a 5 month period, involved 2400 likely voters bridging all economic stratas in the 17
states generally considered up for grabs on November 2nd.
Participants were tested for intelligence, then asked to fill out a 12 page series of questions involving the Presidential candidates with results released earlier this week.

The consensus: the higher the IQ, the less people trust Bush and
respect the job his administration has done. The lower the IQ, the more people admire his steadfastness. "It was pretty much a slam dunk. There's no nice way to say this. Dumb people like him. They think his unwavering nature is a positive personality trait. They even venerate him for never admitting mistakes, even when he's wrong. On the other hand, smart people think he's a lying bully. I mean, c'mon, you have a deserter accusing a decorated veteran of treason. Who's going to buy that besides stupid people?"

Preliminary results:
IQ Above 140: Kerry 80%, Bush 20%.
120-140: Kerry 65%, Bush 35%.
100-120: Kerry 54%, Bush 46%.
80-100: Bush 54%, Kerry 46%.
60-80: Bush 60%, Kerry 15%, Dale Earnhardt Jr. 25%.

Doc, what does IQ have to do with the vote? What are you implying?

In my time I've known a few Harvard MBA's - very brilliant people. Most of them ended up failing because they refused to slow donw and think. 2 and 2 will always equal 4, but getting an hourly person or a clerk to successfully perform takes a different mind set. - I'm saying that you don't have to have a high IQ to be successful, just learn how to use what you have!

Doc, you're typical of the leftist mind set "Do as I tell you because I'm smarter than you are!"

Hey, Doc, If the left is smarter, why couldn't they convince all of those dumb people to vote the way the left wanted them to vote?

Doc, you can have your high IQ, I have the Oval office, the House, the Senate, and most of the governors mansions.

Hey Doc, Gloat, GLOAT!

Here is an example of two types of people I know personally.

I know some guys with 100k educations still looking for jobs and are unemployed and think they are over qualified to take any job.

Now i also know some guys who barely got through high school, one of the guys cut lawns on the weekends while working in a factory during the week.He now owns about 6 trucks makes 6 figures and can't keep up in his own lanscaping buis.
I also know another guy who peddled papers, and with the money bought X-mas trees to sell, than bought a tire buis, now owns real estate up the ass.

Guess which guys voted for Bush??

doc the whole point is people are sick and tired of the condescending superior additude that come from the left....That article is exactley what I am talking about..If you vote for Bush you must be stupid.

People in the heartland of the country who work their ass off 12 hrs a day 7 days a week hoping to make money from farming and the like and who believe in god don't like it when they are taxed to death only to find out that the tax money went to lay about junkies and funding for the arts that have hunks of shiit smeared on a statue of the Virgin Mary and then be mocked and called stupid from idiots in hollywood on their tv sets at nite.
What happens is they leave their rural area and drive 50 miles wait 3hrs in line and vote BUSH.

But you fxckin ******** don't get it!!@

If they drove 3 hours to vote for Bush then they deserve more of the items that doc pointed out.....the dollar can plunge more....we can stay in a useless, hopeless war....and the federal deficit will be outta sight....

Then after we are done "staying the course"......our kids and grandkids can start paying off this massive debt.......someone is going to be heavily taxed for the misconduct of the current administration......better start giving your grandkids a little bit of an allowance now, they will need it for the future...

"The greatest President in the history of this country"

Actually he's more than likely going to go down as the worst in history dispite Nixon.

Everything points toward a draft, a depression and the death of Social Security, that should be enough to secure his place in the history books.

Won't be much of a country left after for more years of this guy.

"Liberals go home"??? Hmmm after impeaching the last guy over a blow job and then re-electing this clown, I'm starting to wonder where that is.

Any way enjoy, the draft guys and start saving your pennies.
