I concur with the OP. Denver is the most protected team in the game. The whole football universe knows they run pick after pick after pick after pick, yet they are never flagged for picks. Does anyone ever watch a tape? Why are Denver receivers always wide open? Nobody within 8 yards? They just cover their eyes and play on.

Guys, I'm not sure this was intentional on Julius Thomas' part. Thomas is a converted hoops player and I don't think he has a clue what to do in the blocking game. The week before, Shannon Sharpe made a public comment that JT could not block the sun out of his eyes. Denver has not had a chop blocking penalty since 2010 so its not like they are still running the zone blocking schemes of the Shanny era.

It looks like he is coming to Tampa Bay. The guy had to take a physical for the Bucs and his personal doctor was in on the interviews. He quit Arizona citing health issues and spending more time with his family. I guess he got the itch to try it again.
