thabeet is soft when hes more than 5 feet away from the hoop, he has no touch, everything bounces off the backboard wildly. he needs to land on a nba team with a good big man coach or else he will hurt his team in the long run. needs to gain some weight too.

hibbert would have given you 14-15 and probably 10 and a block but hibbert moved like a slug.

I liked Hibbert as a college center.

okafor is MILES better than thabeet also. not even close enough to compare the two.

I too would take Hibbert on my college team over Thabeet. Hibbert was a lot smarter and was very good dribbling and passing for a big guy.

If you remember the Final Four the refs took him out against Duke with 2 quick whistles. Calhoun sat him for 17 minutes the first half.

he came in the second half and practically fouled out all 3 Duke big men including superstar Sheldon Williams and took UCONN home with the championship. That is what a superstar college big man does.

They talked up Thabeet very very highly this year etc.. and he didnt do shit. If there was a college Okafor on the court this game he would have ate THABEET up for breakfast, lunch and dinner...

Thabeet has come a long way in the last few years, Sure, Hibbert improved while at Georgetown, but I'll take Thabeet over Hibbert and Okafor, Thabeet's defense and rebounding is tremendous, his offensive game will only get better as he gains more experience
