Let's get some discussion going. I would love to hear what people are leaning towards in this game.

texas tech looked really discouraged in the baylor game and i think that beating from oklahoma really did them in..also all the talk of leach wanting to leave...i just dont think they have any motivation for this game...btw im sure they are discouraged about not getting a bcs bowl

Ole Miss +165.

They won 5 games in a row while Texas Tech struggled down the stretch getting blown out by Oklahoma and needing 2nd half comeback vs. Baylor. Granted Ole Miss didn't play any great teams down the stretch though they did dominate LSU on the road that showed you need balance to beat an SEC team. Also look at other games Texas Tech needed a 4th down play to Crabtree to get into OT vs. Nebraska, 2nd half comeback vs. Texas A&M, and drop INT to beat Texas.

Ole Miss beat Florida for their only loss of the season and outscored Alabama 17-0 in the 2nd half almost pulling off the upset there. Snead played well down the stretch and he competed against McCoy for the QB job in Texas so he has some talent and I’m sure he will want to play well in his home state. They have two potential first picks on the O-line as they are lead by Michael Oher. On the defensive side they only gave up 17.8 points per game 15 best in the nation and Greg Hardy should put pressure on Harrell. Not to mention Harrell had surgery so he will be wearing a splint and Crabtree isn't 100% either. I just feel Ole Miss played better down the stretch and have the better overall team especially if you watched how Big 12 teams played in the bowl season so far compared to the SEC.

Lean toward Ole Miss.

What has Tech done outside of lubbick?

Although I dont put much stock in the win over Florida for Ole Miss.

Most people think the Ole Miss win over Florida was a fluke. But it was not. And Ole Miss proves it in a big way tomorrow.

I like Ole Miss tomorrow, but it was a fluke.

If they played tomorrow florida wins by 40.

I'm glad Vtech pulled through last night. I will be taking Ole Miss tomorrow as well.

True. But Ole Miss matched up great against Florida. Watch Ole Miss DL tomorrow and tell me one team in the past 10 years with a better one.

Ole Miss beat UF bec the Gators were asleep and gave them two turnovers deep in Gator territory and OM STILL almost lost. Give me a break that it wasn't a fluke. And the turnovers were on handoffs so they werent forced by OM either.

That said I'm leaning to a teaser to get OM +10.5, over 59.5. I think TTU will throw effectively against OM, but will not be able to run much at all. Im not sure if OM can get to Harrell (if they can look out). I think OM will score at least 28pts in the game, but I think TTU certainly will as well. I am worried about TTU's motivation and their lack of good play away from home, but that is countered somewhat by Harrell's desire to get a little retribution for his Heisman snub and to raise his draft stock bec all anyone still remembers is him getting his ass kicked by OU.

Im guessing we could see a 38-34 type of game
