What is Vegas Thinking? This is the play of the year. There is no way Todd Reesing and company have what it takes to beat tech. Mangino will be out coached by that snake Mike Leach. There will be alot of points in this game but KU cant keep up with them. I've already put 20 units on this. Take it while you still have this incredible line. I am going to stalk this game like a predator.

Texas tech = overrated imo. No way they are a top ten football team. I'm not big on KU, but imo they win this week and Texas kills TT next week also. Tech will finish with no less than 3 losses imo.

I have no doubt that Texas Tech is the better team. Texas Tech has an elite QB, elite receivers, and beasts no both sides of the line of scrimmage. I have many doubts though that Texas Tech can keep focused with Texas coming to Lubbock next week. Texas Tech has a bad history of laying eggs on the road too.

Texas Tech is a top ten caliber team. They are loaded with talent.

Texas Tech needs to make a statement in this game. They know they have to play both Texas and Oklahoma so I think they will be scoring at will to earn them bcs points. Plus Mike Leach is ruthless when he gets the lead unlike his incredibly overweight counterpart Mangino.

Texas Tech should have lost to Nebraska at home and they needed a 2nd half rally to beat Texas A&M. Kansas played with Oklahoma the whole game and found their running game lately as Sharp went over the 100 yard mark the past two games. I guess you haven't watched Kansas play this year as Briscoe went for 269 yards a school record vs. Oklahoma and Kerry Meier leads the Big 12 in catches. Kansas wins this game and line tells you that.

I guess you forgot about Kansas almost losing to Iowa State the worst team in the Big 12. Lets face it the four Big 12 south teams are all much better than any team in the north. KU will lose on Saturday. Techs defense, although not that good, is better then it has been in the past. And of course, we all know what their offense can do.

You're underestimating Mangino.

Probably won't play a side in this one, but if I had to I like KU. He'll pick apart TTU's defense.

Now, it seems as if it has taken an unexpected, crazy twist. Having already gone through two kickers - who have combined to miss six PATs and half of their field-goal attempts - the sixth-ranked Red Raiders are now seriously considering giving Matt Williams a shot against No. 18 Kansas this weekend.

</td></tr><tr><td align="center">Coach Mike Leach was noticeably frustrated about the kicking game at his weekly news conference.</td></tr></tbody></table><!-- End Leach LG Image-->Williams is a Tarleton State transfer student who won a month of free rent at the Tech/UMass game several weeks ago by kicking a 30-yard field goal. After his successful try, Williams was walking back to his seat when he was flagged down.
"They relayed a message to me saying that Coach [Mike] Leach wanted to talk to me," Williams told RedRaiderSports.com the next day. "He told me to come into his office on Tuesday and talk to him, and then Coach [Clay] McGuire told me to come and speak with him on Monday."
Initially, it was thought that Williams was ineligible this season due to transfer rules. However, according to McGuire - who heads up the Red Raiders' special teams unit, Williams has been cleared to play.
"That is the way I understand it, yeah," confirmed McGuire on Tuesday. "He's got a real good shot. Only Mike Leach could bring a guy out of the stands and make it work."
This wouldn't be the first time that Tech has relied on a non-scholarship kicker, although not quite under such unconventional circumstances.
"We have a tradition of walk-on kickers rising to the top," commented Leach after the UMass game. "[Robert] Treece and [Alex] Trlica both were walk-on kickers that eventually ended up getting to play significantly. We're always looking for guys. We're excited to see what [Williams]'s got to offer if he's interested."
What Williams offers, compared to Donnie Carona and Cory Fowler, is something that is absolutely necessary for PATs: trajectory.
"I've seen that guy try one kick," added Leach. "But the difference between his and the others is that they barely got off the ground. His got up right away."

This is good stuff. How many people are thinking this exact way? Shoving Kansas aside like this is the easiest money ever made. I'd stop right at 20 units, you don't want to lose anymore than that. :103631605

I absolutely agree with you on this one predator. Tech has better coaching and better talent than KU. I will also be hitting Texas Tech this weekend for a unit or two. I see this game getting out of hand by the second half, sending those hippie Jayhawk fans back to their bongs.

What do you think about Missouri -22 against colorado. It seems to me they freak out against the big boys (Ut and OU) but they destroy average Big 12 teams. I'm thinking a blow out in this game. Plus it is a statement game at home.

What statement would that be, we can't play with the big boys, but we own the sisters of the poor?

Not saying Mizzou doesn't cover, but their season is over.

Yes, Leach is the better coach, the one whose teams start great every year and then finish with 3-5 losses.

I am sure Nebraksa and A&M were just aberations for Tech, right?

KU will win this game because of Sharp, they will run the ball and keep TTU of the field.

However, the best play of this game is the over 66.5

Mu season is far from over. They can easily win the north and play 5 average big 12 teams to finish the season. I dont even think they have to win them all to play in the Big 12 championship. I think they get another shot at texas where they will most likely lose again. But they still have something to play for.
