Matt Moore is special

Is he a special enough 22 yr old to make his 2nd start in MLB Playoff on the road, at the best offensive home team in the majors? Is he that special? If so, how do you know how special he is? Did you scout his start against the yankees and determine that yourself? Or did you read it on ESPN yesterday?

Im sure he is good, and I'm sure he will look good the first time through the rangers lineup......the second time through might not be so much fun for Mr. Moore. IMO, the rays best chance to win in Texas will be in game 2 with shields/Holland, in a 3-2 type of game.

GL to you. Just wish i had the info you had. I dont see it happening, but i'm good with the rangers staying under 4.5, 4-0 rangers works for me.

The whole rangers lineup is hotter than hell right now Beltre has 12 hr's in last 16 games, Napoli has 4 hr's in his last two games, Cruz has found his stroke since coming back, Kinsler still hot, Young is consistant, Torrealba solid in the DH spot, Andrus is solid and had a 4 hit night a couple days ago, that under is scary but you prob have some great info from the minor leagues to back it up

Probably a good call. Talented rookie that none have ever faced. Will take a few innings to get a handle on him.

GL to you.

*Thank you

*No offense to my second favorite team (Rangers), but a cursory look at their September schedule and associated starting pitchers gives us a bit of insight as to how they racked up such great scoring numbers during the past four weeks.

Rays pitching staff sans Niemann/Davis held the Rangers to 12 runs in six games this year.

Is Moore worthy of being included in that fraternal level? We'll find out in about four hours...heh

Greatest time of year for The Great Game of Baseball

I'm headed out to a couple job sites and will be taking this game in via the miracle of the Rays radio broadcast on my 1984 Sony Walkman

fun stuff, my Arlington amigo

Sure tugs at my baseball fan heartstrings to encounter this particular matchup of clubs in Round One......I need to get a tad phatter financially so that next time I fly in to DFW for the "Away" games.

i cant ever remember a 4 oclock start here, so we will see if the shadows are that big a deal, that could be a great thing for your bet or not. slight wind is out of the north which is actually blowing out, but doesnt usually effect the game with a north wind, but no south wind jet stream for sure today.
you have some things going for you on this one, thats for sure.
a lefty pitching
possible shadows
no wind play
and hamilton doesnt hit well in sunny day games

i may make a small under 8 bet, but no way in hell i can make under bet on rangers tt. rays arent scoring more than 2 runs today and they only score 2 if they get lucky and connect once or twice. anybody know the hp ump yet, i know Kerwin Danley is in this crew
