James Franklin comes over from Vanderbilt where he was 24-15 in 3 seasons....15 losses in 3 seasons in college is a failure I don`t care who you are.....5 losses a season in college is HORRIBLE....Period!
Franklin was 7-6 last season...Shit season but I`ll let him slide being his 1st season.

Patterson has a huge ego. I remember when he was the GM of the Rockets and he called out Olajuwon during a contract issue. Olajuwon stated he was hurt, and Patterson came out publicly and said he "was faking." The new owner fired Patterson when he bought the team.
At UT, the alumni pretty much call the shots. His firing was no surprise in my opinion.
