OU is the better team?
Their advantage is that they played their tougher competition down the stretch. If Texas beat them by 10 on a nuetral field to end the season, it would be a Texas sweep in the polls. The dominant running game and defense that they were supposed to have developed didn't show up today whatsoever. Ok State moved the ball with the same mixed gameplan Texas had, and Texas stopped OU with a better defense.

TEXAS beat both Missouri and Oklahoma, who both happen to be in the Big 12 title game. If there is a god, something will happen for Texas. I'm hoping that last touchdown that Stoops scored comes back to bite him in the ass, and it very very well could. Some of these old school coaches will find it tasteless and classless.
Mack Brown sounded like such a stooge in the in-game interview too. Apparently head-to-head only applies to him when it's texas and OU, but not Texas and TT. He certainly knows how to campaign! (he got them in to the championship game once before) Dont think his begging and crying will be enough this time though....
Who said anything about stopping Florida? You could just as easily say Oklahoma is the only team in the Big 12 with the offense to KEEP UP with Florida.
USC would be Florida also, so if we want the TRUE top 2 teams put the Gators and Trojans out on the field. That's not happening though, unless OU goes down to Mizzou. Then they might have a shot.
