Texas/Arkansas game postponed until Sept. 27

Hurricane Ike's imminent arrival has forced this weekend's game to be postponed until Sept. 27.

I feel sorry for anybody planning on visiting Austin that weekend, as it's also the time of the annual 3-day Austin City Limits Music Festival. Finding a hotel room is going to be next to impossible.

We just had to cancel our plans to go to travel to this game (and the Cubs game this weekend). Sucks!

They've got a pretty good shot at getting the game in before the rains reach Dallas, at least the heavy stuff. They've got a 2:30pm kickoff and as of right now they're predicting it'll be early-to-mid afternoon before the storms reach Austin. Figure it'll take another few hours to make it that much further north.
