Texas/ Anaheim tonight

Appier is not back just because he wacked a poor hitting team like the Dodgers twice. I'm gonna take the big bats of Texas here behind a nice young rookie who is pitching well right now. They may have lost the 4 games that Mounce started this year, but he has pitched well in the last 3 games, giving up 1 ER or less. I think he is being overlooked here for the bigger "name" in Appier. I see good value here.

Any other thoughts/opinions are welcome.

I like TX in the first 5 here. Angels pen is more superior than TX pen and Angels are an all around better team. I like the +175 in 5 innings-easier to sneak out a victory in 5 innings than a game. Angels are 4-0 in games Appier doesn't get a decision in and TX is 0-2 in games Mounce doesn't get a decision in. So, if the trend continues things will favor the Angels after the starters are gone.
The rally monkey scares me. I don't want to go up against him if I can still get the same odds in 5 innings. Good luck.

I don't like Tex. Ana is 24-18 at home while Tex is only 14-28 away. Ana hits LHP at .276. Cedestrom is behind the plate. His O/U is 9-6 this year and was 17-10 last year. Mounce has control problems and can be wild. Couple Cedestrom together with Mounce and that spells trouble for Texas.

Thanks Blue. Good call Omni. Raiders I think you get more stupid by the day. You went 0-4 on Friday and lost the Angels - 185 on Thursday. Yet you still flame me when I have a losing day. I see you have run like a coward from this thread Raiders.

MFG- Why do you ruin every thread you go into. I know you lost big today on heavy chalk's A's , NYY and Hou on the game and 5 innings but this is not your thread. Learn to handle your losses. You've had lots of practice.

Raiders-What are you lying about now. I would never change a pick on account of you. I bumped my bet up once I saw you on the Angels. Easiest money I ever made. Just fading your sorry picks has been a gold mine.
