Should be, because it's a lot different compared to when you look at the whole board, and chose one or a few games to compose your card from.

I just had this extra idea.
After all the picks are in, I am looking at the numbers on both sides, and I will make a consensus pick for the day.

Calculation is like this:
today 9 people are on the Mets and 7 are on the Diamondbacks.

Let's suppose a perfect consensus pick would be worth 10 units, of a 100 units bankroll.

Then this is:

if 16 people's consensus would be ..............worth 10 units
then 9 people on the Mets is ...................... worth "x" units
------------------------------------------------
X = 9*10 / 16 = 5.625 units.... rounded: 5.6 units Mets

This is wrong, because, in the same way:

if 16 people's consensus would be .............................worth 10 units
then 7 people on the Diamondbacks is ...................... worth "x" units
------------------------------------------------
X = 7*10 /16 = 4.375 units on the Diamondbacks

The difference: 5.625-4.375 = 1.25, rounded up: 1.3 u Mets

More easy should be:

if 16 people's consensus would be .............................worth 10 units
then 2 people (the plus on the Mets) is ...................... worth "x" units
------------------------------------------------
X = 2*10/16 = 1.25 => 1.3 u Mets

Every day I will post here a game, with just 2 possible wagers to make on.
The wagers will be always "to win" 1 unit.
I will post the odds, and those will be considered final, no matter if you post your play just minutes before game starts, and by that time the real odds have changed a lot.

Those who want to try there capping skills in these conditions just post the play in this thread, and we'll keep daily count of the records. Lets' see how many will take the challenge.
Today after the first 20 will post there play, I will take no more people into this thread, because keeping the records will get to complicated with too many people.

We'll run the thread until the end of the MLB season, and if it's going well, I will make one for the NBA too.

Some rules:

I will try to post always in the morning, before 12 AM ET.
I will also mention in the post what in the time-limit for posting your play (will check according to the time-stamp of your post).
If you do not make a play for the day, it is considered a "loss".
If you miss more than 3 days any 30 consecutive days, you are out of the thread.
