The Rx.com has installed a new blog feature on the toolbar above this forum and above the master front page of all the forums. Click on the link below or on the word Blogs on the left hand side of the toolbar above this post.

Looks like a great feature not quite sure how to use it. Can anyone start a thread and if so how? If not, how does one respond to those already started. My familiarity with "blogs" is zilch and I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one. A little help would be appreciated.

I think I got it!. If you click on the link in this thread, you are not logged in, so the "Options" on the left are not shown. If you click on the "Blogs" on the toolbar, you are logged in if you already have logged into the forums and the "Options" to create a blog is there. Pretty cool.

All posters can start their own Blog if they want. No promotional stuff like links to other websites or promoting other websites though, no touts, schills, porn etc either.

Basically the same rules that govern the Offshore Forum will govern the Blog. Moderators can edit entries if they are out of line.


Naturally our advertisers can promote themselves as they pay to advertise here.

Could get ugly with the ratings though.....and what does that inline moderation thing mean?

In line moderation means that the same kind of out of bounds posting not allowed here in the Offshore Forum will not be allowed in the Blogs.

Official Rule in Blogs.

Lets say someone has their own blog and they also are a big fan of teams from a certain city, say Boston for example, that person can home it up all he/she wants in their own blog without fear of attack.

I might even try to find a pink Red Sox hat special smilie for the blogs only.

How do I post a Youtube video?

In order to embed a YouTube video copy the URL of a video, go to to the Add Media section of your write page (the page where you compose your blog posts), click on Add Video, paste the URL into the box, and click the Insert into Post button:
