Yep, you're right; I had glanced back at the wrong post. I WAS referring to your hysterical
above approach to this super-flu. Sorry if my skepticism bothers you, but I have a LOT of
company.
As for these mortality rates you're selling, they are HIGHLY suspect. No doubt that ICU
patients have a higher rate than the healthier general population (witness all those
poor unfortunates on ventilators!), but I'd like to think that 15% is a bogus number,
as well as those through-the-roof figures you're throwing around!
The CDC's official death/mortality rate is 0.27% for the general population.
As for this "Tell that to the people in ICU, or those who have lost loved ones", GTFOH
with that sh*t. It's VERY easy to assume you're some kind of self-appointed moral
scold for others -- whom you must assume are inferior to you -- so go ahead and
take your "moral lecture tour" elsewhere. It's just a load of horsesh*t.
I'll go on living and hoping that all those afflicted GET WELL, without making any
public display of it. I don't need your approval, or anyone else's.
