Your reputation is that of cashing contests and not feeling the need to show thanks to those taking time and effort to run the contests which allowed you to win said money. ——- in case you needed it spelled out

To 2nd what others said

I actually invented this contest and held the money year 1 .

There were only like 17 players in year one .
It was not nearly as big as it is now .

And just that 1 year for me was a royal pain in the ass

I abandoned the thing after year 1 because of the headache .

It’s 3x that that size now which probably means it’s 3x the headache .

Willie rescued the contest after I abondaned it and turned this into one of the best contest in the history of the forum despite the fact I’ve never made it past week 5 .

Anyway said all that to say this

Please be generous to Willie .

It’s very hard work

You pay 10% vig to the sports books on all your bets and they barely lift a finger .

Willie is doing actual hard work .

I think at min he should get in free next year and also receive at the very least 5% of the pool next year in addition to any other gratuity future winners give him .

Not only is he doing this but him along with dude24 is doing this same thing in the fantasy football contest .

Another contest I started and abandoned after year 2 because of the headache .

So he is doing all this work not only with this contest but also the football fantasy contest .

And not a single person ever had to wait even 5 seconds for a payout in over a decade .

props to Willie99 and Dude24

take care of these 2 guys

Thanks for the kind words gentlemen. I do it because I like doing it, I can do it, and I've earned peoples' trust. One of these years I'm going to win the 15k too

I'm beginning to think a free entry might not be a bad idea. I swallow a few bucks in paypal fees every year, but CY paid for those and then some by tipping me up front :)

It's nothing significant, I just don't like wasting time chasing people around. I think next year I'll just add $ 20 to people who send PayPal to my friend. I think using Friends and Family too often draws attention from PP anyhow

I enjoy this stuff, and I love to stay crazy busy :)

Confirming that Texans would have been my default pick. Willie, I'll send you the details just for reference.

Sharky & Marines alive into week 18. I don't know what Captain Lee's default pick was last week. I had the picks listing back home, didn't bring it with me to Florida. So we're just going to play it out until I get back, sans any losses that is

I will continue into the 1st two weeks of the playoffs following the contest rules, and teams reset

If somebody wants to look at Captain's picks before then, it would be greatly appreciated

Remember, unless a pick is made before then, at 1:00 EST, the default pick is the biggest favorite not previously used for any game that hasn't already been played (like the two today)
