You answered your question. He's not played much lately due to his injury woes. Honestly, I'd have put a unit on moya at this price but I've got an outright on Tsonga, and don't want to be hedging on it this soon.

tsonga is money because i would like to lay a small bet on Moya and i'm probably no good at this tennis capping stuff.

tsonga is rusty and looked it in round 1. he just happened to play a guy who sucked.

I have gotten royally phucked on so many of Moya's matches in the past 10 years. I wouldn't even think of playing this match unless i woke up inside Tsonga 's body and knew myself how the damn injury felt.

so you dont think tsonga wins today?

I saw Moya's price at 2.30. I think that's good value, and would understand why anyone got on him. He's got a great record at the US Open, always capable of surprising people and Tsonga has played one match in about 3-4 months... I reckon it would be close even if Tsonga was fully-fit. Still, I'm cheering on Tsonga and hope he realises that all he has to do is keep approaching and hitting to the Moya backhand.

Tsonga is clearly the much better player, there's still doubts to his form and fitness as he hasn't played much lately. He got himself down a set early to Ventura, but was able to take over afterwards in his first match. He might not be able to just turn it on and take over against Moya. I'm not a big Moya guy, but he could easily beat J-W today. Still, if I was forced to bet this game I would take the over, but I'm laying off.
