THere's a brand new pro wrestling company based out of Nashville (owned by Jeff Jarrett) called Global Force Wrestling , GFW held their debut show Saturday night in Knoxville.

Appearing on the show as a heel manager was former UT basketball coach Donnie Tyndal , but in another match the "bad guys" were beating up the good guys when 4 unknown men ran into the ring and beat up the bad guys and chased them off. The announcer identified the guys as current UT football players but no names were given.

Now it's certainly possible that a lie was told at a pro rasslin show , or its possible that they were former players ...BUT , if true how do you guys feel about players being involved in something like this ?

I guess theres no rules violation as long as they werent paid , but as a Bama fan i would be disappointed if Saban allowed current players to be involved in something like this.

Hell, did you see Tennessee's spring game? It resembled a three-ring-circus with Butch Davis
running around like a circus barker.

I guess they are trying to sell tickets because ole Neyland Stadium hasn't been full the past few years.

I'm still lmao at Tyndal being a "bad guy" manager. ... Could you imagine Anthony Grant doing something like that ?

I think when it comes to local color , Knoxville is one weird place.

I heard some of the team went fishing at the lake this weekend too. Some went swimming. I'm floored. I thought they kept them in a cage when they weren't in uniform.

At least none of them drowned. The only decent things that ever came out of Tennessee was Beale Street Blues, Old #7, and Dolly Parton's boobs.

BD, please understand that this guy is on (IGNOR) on most of the veterans here.

No one gives a shit about his post or understands what you are replying too.
