I just noticed in theRX college football contest that Tennessee over Florida is by for the most lopsided pick at 17-3. Well, something has to give.

Tennessee has lost ten straight conference openers. The Vols have lost their SEC opener every season since a 30-28 win over Florida in 2004. The Gators have given Tennessee 9 of those conference-opening losses and will try to do so again when they go for their 11th straight win over the Vols today. The game is listed as Tennessee PK to -1 favorite.

What do you think men?

I was going to take Florida in contest but passed. Now seeing how lopsided it is, I wished I did take Florida

Yeah, I passed on the game also.......

Not sure Tennessee's offensive line can handle the Gator defensive line.

Wouldn't touch it, for the reasons mentioned in both your posts above. Would damn sure watch it though. TN with 18 returning Starters to FLA's 10, VOLS lose by a single point last year....one might reasonably think that VOLS could finally do this. Apparently 17 people in the contest do think that and just 3 people don't think they can do it.

As I said, I passed also in the contest.....

........If I had to play it, I would lean Florida because of its defense. Nationally, Florida has the 7th ranked rushing defense, allowing 55.3 yards per game, is 11th in total defense and 20th in scoring defense, giving up 15.3 points per game. I'm thinking Florida's highly regarded secondary with their press-man coverage will cause the Tennessee receivers problems. Dobbs is going to have to be sharp for the Vol offense today...provided the O-Line can protect him.

Florida has a great defense....but Tennessee, right now, has a better team (overall). If I was going to play this is would have been Tennessee. As a Gator fan, I hope I'm wrong. The UF offense is handicapped.

Floridas Oline is not very good. Plus Grier is still raw. The defense and home field advantage will get florida the win today.

The most improbable win I've ever witnessed UF win. I've seen the other side (against UF)....this would have surely been a loss under Zook or Muschamp.

CP, 11 years ago...it was UF losing that game w/ an incompetent coach on the sidelines. I thought Jones was legit...but after watching the Oklahoma and UF meltdowns (all his fault) I think he's a combination of former UF coaches Will Muschamp & Ron Zook.... he can recruit, say the right things, rah-rah, etc.... but he can't do shit on game day.
