I think Auburn is favored because they're at home and they crushed two soft teams by a combined score of 93-10. Tennessee on the other hand eecked out a 3 point win over South Carolina. Auburn still has'nt beaten a quality team and I'm not impressed by them pounding Vanderbilt and W.Kentucky. Tennesee may not be pretty but they've been tested on the road at the swamp and won outright and I think they beat Auburn too.
It's probably a no play for me, but I lean to Auburn. I think this is the trap game that GT/Clemson was 2 weeks ago.
I'm still not impressed with UT. They beat a mediocre UF team on the road, and were very lucky to win over the cocks. The true freshman, Summers, ran all over them, and AU has got their running game untracked, I think.

They both stink. This game will be a tight, defensive battle. Play it under 38 1/2. Auburn's QB is horrible. I wouldn't bet on Campbell with someone elses money. Tennessee has a conservative offense and a solid defense. Auburn will run the ball because they're scared to let Campbell throw it so that will keep the clock moving. Their solid defense will bottle up Tennessee and this is like a 10-7 game.
Man this one has been bothering me all week. As a Vol fan I vowed never to bet on or against them years ago because they always seem to find away to burn you. That being said, This seems like a slightly lower line due to the scare south carolina gave them last week. I don't think the UT/SC matchup should have been anything else but a great game and if the vols came out on top I think they found a way to win a tough game, not "man they stink they should have covered the 16". I have some confidence in them getting the win against Auburn.

Auburn defense should hold UT to to 17 points or less, as it is being overlooked here, only allowing 23 points to Southern Cal, where Auburns offense went 3 and out many times.
This will be an ugly game, sorta like a Ohio State win, with Auburn sneaking by as they are finally getting it together on offense.
Look for the big bruiser Brandon Jacobs to get at least 12-15 carries as he has made a name for himself quickly. 6-4, 260, 4.4. He was Auburn first 100 yard rusher this year on 10 carries. They still have Ronnie Brown, and Carnell Williams too! If Auburn can finally get the O-line to run block, Auburn could win by 2-3 tds, as that defense wont allow much at all.
If Auburn cant get that O moving, then UT will win in a sqeaker, but it seems that AU will finally show some of that preseason hype and pull it out.

Tennessee's most valuable player this year has been their punter. Auburn has the number 2 defense in the country and CAN stop the run. (running is Tennessee's strength.) UT could very easily have 2 losses already this year. Florida and South Caroline AT HOME! Granted Auburn hasn't looked real good this year but Auburn needs this game more than Tennessee and if they force Clausen to throw it could be trouble for UT.

VOLS ROLL....Clausen will find a way to win and with renewed confidence in his wr's with swain and banks, look for them to open up the offense and for them to put 8 in the box to stop the AU running game....we know AU's qb couldn't hit the broad side of a bull's ass. Take the gift of points and rely on Phil to get the job done.
