I think this game is a total mismatch. Simple as that. There's plenty of writeups on it.

UCLA will have problems moving the ball and their QB might complete more passes to UT's secondary than UCLA's receivers.

UT's offensive line should give Crompton plenty of time and protection to pick the UCLA secondary apart and open up holes for Foster.

Vols roll. 31-10.

Tennessee's offense is way better than UCLA offense, people who win when they bet real money know this.

Tennessee's DL are way better than UCLA's OL. Tennessee's OL are better than UCLA's DL.

Agree to disagree here and GL to you Railbird.

So why has this line settled back down at 7 instead of moving up to 8? I mean, everyone thinks Tenn is gonna blows the doors off UCLA in this game and it sticks at a TD spread? :think2:

Something tells me we might end up seeing about 20 "WTF TENN" threads later tonight

Someone posted last night that you wouldn't be able to find a 7.5 tomorrow that the line would be 8 to 8.5. Well, I guess he was half right. I don't know why UCLA is going to even both going to the Rose Bowl tonight. They have no chance. The books have set a bad line folks. A monday night prime-time labor day game and the books have made this line? Vegas is asleep at the wheel. Tennessee should be at least a 21 point favorite.

I feel like I'm being treated as a UT homer here, but believe me, I am not a Tennessee fan. I just believe that they are the superior team here.

If I lose, you can believe that I won't start one of those threads. I can respect UCLA backers, but I don't agree in this situation. GL to all no matter what side you choose. That's why they call it gambling fellas!

I have noticed that about half the people that post UCLA has no chance are Tennessee fans. It's funny that people keep posting that UCLA has no offense and a new system and new qb, etc. when Tennessee has a QB who's not started before a new coordinator. Tennessee's DL "are way better"? People act as if UCLA has no defense. Their defense has been their strength.

arian foster is a very under rated RB too.

hes not the breakaway threat the vols are used to having, but hes also a good pass catcher - something cutcliffe didnt use enough.... take a prop on his recieving yards or catches tonight to go over if you can find it

I am not a Tennessee fan!!!!! Just because I live here does not make me a fan!!!! I am an LSU fan!

I never said UCLA didn't have a defense. People just forget to realize that Tennessee has their entire OL coming back from a team that allowed an NCAA-low 4 sacks all season last year! Foster is a SR and a very talented and experienced RB. Crompton is very talented and perhaps the only reason I truly believe that UT will dominate this game is because I saw Crompton pick apart my LSU Tiger defense in Knoxville when Ainge got hurt 2 years ago.

I do not disagree with you there. I wish 7:00 would hurry up and get here so that the players can do the talking and we can enjoy a good prime-time football game.

Lets see, UCLA is sending TE's, defensive lineman, and the coaches grandmother out as starters on the o-line.

Tennessee returns 4 starters from a o-line that gave up 5 sacks all of last season.

L5Y, USC is 4-0 vs SEC, outscoring them 167-48!!!

Yep, and the line is down to 7. If only the books knew what they were doing.

LOL. What's he going to say? Keep listening to ESPN for your information. The worst thing a handicapper can do is listen to pre-game shows. Every heard of coachspeak?
