Tennessee's schedule is as Tennessee-friendly as it's likely to get for years to come.
Only 4 road games all season one of them @ Vandy in the last week and they travel
to Georgia, A&M and So.Car. in October to make up the four. One tough home game
vs. Alabama also in October and that's as hard as it's gonna get. With a season win
total set at 10 I think it's more likely for them to come up a game shy. Still though a
pretty easy slate overall.

I agree Mr. C. The 2016 schedule is similar to last years, just take Oklahoma out and
add Virginia Tech. Last year the Vols were 9-4 with a ton of starters back. This season
will be 9-4 with a ton of starters back. Jones will screw up at least four games. Watch
out for Virginia Tech in the second game.

App State, Virginia Tech (Bristol), Ohio, Florida, @Georgia, @Texas A&M, Alabama, Open,
@South Carolina, Tenn-Tech, Kentucky, Missouri, @Vanderbilt

That run of Florida, Georgia, Texas A&M and Alabama will be difficult.

back-end of the schedule is as easy as any D1 program but that 4-week stretch of Florida, at UGA, at aTm, Bama is tough enough but all 4 will have new QBs. I've got them in the SEC title game vs LSU...can i root for a tie in that one?

Their back-end of the schedule has always been weak (going back to the 90's). UT fans always cried that if they played Florida in November (instead of September) they'd be SEC champs...blah...blah...blah. It's one of the reasons they go into the following season with high expectations, especially if they win their bowl game the previous season.

Wow !!!! The last time Appalachian State played on [a] September 1st was back in (2007) when they beat "Mighty Michigan" in the "big house".....I guess the Mountaineers have come a long way in the football-world since then.

That Virginia Tech game being played at the NASCAR race track in Bristol (Tennessee) still blows my socks-off every time I think about it....ha.
The "deck" does seem to be "stacked" in favor of the Vols this year.....It will be interesting to see how their season plays out. They do play in the SEC ......Life there is never easy.......
