I would be interested in hearing the most SUSPICIOUS boxing match you ever witnessed (either in person, or on TV). For me, it was the Cassius Clay-Sonny Liston fight, closely followed by the decision of the Tommy Hearns-Sugar Ray Leonard bout.

i cant remember who fought him but i remember the outcome quite well though:

it was julio ceasar chavez against somebody and the other guy was winning the fight the whole way and in the 12 round with 5 seconds left in the fight the referee richard steele declare a tko knockout and chavez wins a fight he would have lost clearly.

if anyone remembers this fight please tell me who chavez's was fighting in this one because i can't remember for the life of me who he fought in this one.

It was a good call, M. Taylor got knocked down and could not respond to what Steele was asking him. It's not the referee's job to know how much time is left in the round, nor should it affect his decision.

That's exactly correct BIGTEX. However, Steele must have HEARD the signal (clapper-sounds) signifying that there was 10 seconds remaining in the round.

George Foreman fought a Axel Schultz in Germany and was whipped but the judges gave him the fight. I had Shultz as a 7-1 dog. When Foreman was talking last night about something being funny with the Mosley decision he was talking from first hand experience.

Most suspicious refereeing - The Chavez-Taylor fight was total robbery with Steele stopping it.

Most suspisious judging - the first Holyfield-Lewis fight being ruled a Draw by one judge and one even scoring it for Holyfield.
