I have been a season ticket holder for the Ottawa Senators for a number of years. I've been thinking of expanding and buying season tickets for the Toronto Maple Leafs, but it appears the only way to do that is to buy a Personal Seat License, which is EXPENSIVE.
A license for 2 tickets in the Gold section for the Maple Leafs costs about $70,000 (+ the cost of tickets, fees, etc)
Meanwhile, a license for 2 similar tickets for both the Maple Leafs AND Toronto Raptors looks like it costs less than $20,000!
The only difference between these licenses appears to be that the first one you only have to buy season tickets to the Leafs, while the second one commits you to buying Leafs + Raptors season tickets.
Are Raptors season tickets that worthless, that people will pay 350% MORE to not have to purchase them? Does anyone have any experience with PSLs that could shed some light on this for me?
