Longshore can't hit a wr for his life. Tedford better smarten up and bench him in the second half.

I really don't understand it either. Just because a kid practices better in non-game situations doesn't necessarily mean he's going to do it in a game situation, or deserves to start a game.. So far he hasn't proved it on the field. Why should he be any different tonight? I don't understand Tedford's move here.

And Tedford decidedly said he will play him in the second half. What the hell did he see that we didn't?:think2:

Seeing as how I have Miami +10 this is the best news that I could have heard. Longshore may prove me wrong in the end. But so far he hasn't really done anything.

The reason Tedford started and played Longshore is because he is a senior and this is his last game. Riley is a sophomore and will be back the next two years. With the suspensions, particularly Mavre, for Miami, Tedford was confident the Bears would beat the Canes. He doesn't care about the spread.

If Miami accidently scores again, Tedford better worry about the win.

I have Cal -9.5. I'm considering Miami 2nd half +4. It'll be a tight squeeze but I could save my ass from this dumbass.

I;ve seen Kevin Riley just as bad. He's played some good games but Longshore has played well at home too, in big games especially. (Remember Tennesse) I'd rather have seen Riley anyway. See if Nate can come on in the 2H. His receivers are pretty good.

The PAC-10 specialist- what are your 2nd half thoughts?

I live out here and am a Cal alum (1970). Tedford doesn't have to worry about anything. He can write his own ticket here. As long as the Bears keep going to bowl games and winning most, he has no worries.

He better worry about his QB completing some passes or it will be the game he loses & not just the spread

OMT - I know you took the under but what are your thoughts on the 2nd half?

I admit that Tedford has been good for the Cal program. But losing to Miami practically at home can't possibly help his recruiting.

The reason I took the Under was because of Cal's defense and to some extent the Canes defense plus the suspensions. Really don't have an opinion on the second half.

Tedford has no trouble recruiting. In fact, he competes very strongly for the same players that USC goes after.
