This guy has f'n haunted me since draft day, 2007. I owe that prick Cam Cameron for that. Two f'n hands on the ball in the endzone, and there it goes into the turf. What a clutch catch that would've been. But he's useless.

The MIA "D" has a looooooong way to go as well. The secondary and LB's are pathetic. They're off the field so long, well-rested, and they give up an easy TD when a FG would've been fine.

MIA is still playing with minor league players, so I can't expect much. Parcells has a lot of work yet to do.

And how important was that bank-shot FG to end the half by IND?

Thanks for listening to me vent. MIA will have a winning season, but no where near the playoffs, esp with how well NYJ are doing.

I swear, every time I see Ginn on the field, it causes me deep, physical PAIN. Do you see how he crumbles to the turf whenever he actually does catch the ball?

What pisses me off more, esp coming from Hawaii, is if Pennington would get his head out of his ass long enough to see that Davone Bess is a far more reliable WR, then they may've won this gm, and many others. But, he only looked his way a handful of times (which he made all the catches, btw).

Yes Flava, Sparano got a looooong way to go as well. He & Pennington looked completely LOST in that 2 minute. LOST.

I had Miami and lost. Sure, it would have been nice if Ginn had made that catch. That is the nature of gambling. Let's not make it personal with insults. We come across as degenerates when we do that. I am sure Ginn knows perfectly well that he should have caught the pass.

Well, degenerates or not, it still doesn't change the fact that Ginn sucks.

Seriously tho, I'm a huge MIA fan, been so since #13 was drafted, and suffering thru the Wanny/Fiedler yrs, then thru Saban/Cameron, it pains me to see Ginn foul up critical plays gm after gm. And it just makes me think, what a difference it could've made if we had drafted ANYONE else at #10 in 07?

I actually blame Cameron more than Ginn, Ted didn't draft himself. Just hope Tuna lets him go after this yr, and drafts a WR first rd in '10.

Ted Ginn is a fucking David Hester return man at best. That bitch dropped more key balls last night than he caught. Fuck him!

I had Miami too so I'm obviously upset with the loss like the rest of you, but I think there are a lot more factors than just Ginn dropping that pass. And I have to admit, although he should have caught it, I wouldn't say that was an easy catch. Fully extended with a defender all over him. Yes NFL receivers should make that catch, but I wasn't surprised he didn't.

I think the biggest reason they lost was their defense. Just horrible. You won't see worse tackling than that in an NFL game. Also, the laydown at the end of the first half giving up the FG to Indy was pretty bad too. I'll never understand why teams are so willing to concede points at the end of the half instead of just playing defense.

You also have to put a lot of blame on the coaching staff. With over 3 minutes to play, they played for the FG by handing the ball off on 3rd and 6 from the Indy 30. Hell, why not just take a knee? They should have known 3 points wouldn't hold up against a great offense like Indy. Especially when you consider how bad Miami's D was playing.

One last thing... I think the Santonio Holmes' dropped TD yesterday was as bad as Ginn's, but nobody is mentioning it. He's lucky Jeff Reed missed those FGs because if he hadn't, I think people would be raking him over the coals today instead of Reed.

I agree with Griffin's post that there were many many factors leading to MIA's loss. But that all could've went a wayside if Ginn had made a simple, NFL catch. Not an amazing grab, but an NFL catch.

Today I looked back at the guys that went drafted after Ginn at #9 in 07, and it made me want to puke.

I know they didn't need a RB then, but Lynch went after, so did shut-down CB Revis, Patrick Willis, Jon Beason, and S Mike Griffen. WR's that went after Ginn: Dwayne Bowe, Robert Meacham, Anthony Gonzalez, & (NYG) Steve Smith.

Thank you Cam Cameron.

Time to revisit this thread in lieu of recent events.

The fucker Teddy Gimp Jr costs MIA yet another big time gm. So, for the first half when he gets very little looks, MIA is up 24-10. Then, to start the 2nd half, a perfectly thrown ball by Henne goes right into Ginn's 2 hands (like a lot of his drops), and he gently tips it to the DB covering him, who then tips it to Sharper for the TD. Bam, instant momentum change. Ok, so MIA gets lit up by Brees due to the injury to their #1 corner Will Allen. Despite that, MIA still gets the ball with a few minutes left, only down 6. And Ginn drops a first down pass right in the gut. They end up getting the 1st down anyway, but that drop probably made Henne hesitant to even look his way the rest of the drive.

Thank you Cam Cameron.

I can only hope Ginn gets traded or hurt so the team can focus on other WR's that won't kill the team. Why the cancer doesn't get cut, and hopefully picked up by a rival, is beyond me.

i'm surprised he's still an option on this team. he should be put out to pasture with Dallas WR Roy Williams.

guys can always turn their game around. Take Vernon Davis who was partly misused by Mike Nolan and partly didnt have the skills. But hes developed into the top TE in the NFL now.

Ginn should be used for end arounds and decoys and long heave ho passes. otherwise set him aside and work on his catching ability.

All the Dolphin fans were bitching that they didnt take Brady Quinn, at least Ginn is worthy of playing, even if only on returns....

Miami should sign James Bond Junior. Even a cartoon would make a better WR than Ginn. He drops three easy standard catches for every one he actually holds on to. I wouldn't have thought it really possible but he is just about directly responsible for Miami losing to the Saints. That ridiculously standard catch that he so kindly tipped to the Saints DBs for a pick six and those critical late ridiculously standard catches that he dropped really were the difference.

MrMac that is true. Unfortunately we are stuck with ted ginn until he is cut after the season but if we didn't take him we probably would have had Quinn who amazingly is a worse pro player. If Cam Cameron had any brains he would have taken Patrick Willis at the time with our aging LBs.

Oh well, word here is that Ginn is going to get significantly less playing time (probably just relegated to return duties) and that Hartline will get more playing time. I still think we beat the Jets on Sunday. If we can hang with the Pats in two weeks we will be 4-4 and 4-0 in the division at the halfway point.

OMG, that is great news! Is that true? I always wished he'd just be relegated to return duties, even though he's not good at that either, but at least he can't drop key passes there. Well, he can fumble, but he usually falls down before contact, so that's not likely.
