he hasnt played for 3 years so there's rust and stuff.

he's not a great passer and teams will continue to stack the line and take away the run and force him to pass. kelly might bring in new wrinkles but why all that effort for a 3rd or 4th string QB? 3rd and 2 and teams will focus on the run. if Tebow can pass them out of a 3rd and 2 with man coverage, they'll take it.

the money isnt huge so that's not a concern, but using up a roster spot for a non-special teams specialty role isnt a good idea.

Tebow brings a lot of distractions. On the flip side, if you need some monies, Tebow will up the jersey sales and new fans. Pretty genius I guess for a backup backup QB

Kelly said his offense wasnt suited for a QB like Tebow back in 2011....what changed? certainly not Tebow who hasnt played since 2012. and not Kelly's offensive style.

Then again, who else is out there to pick up? Brady Quinn? Philly needs to spend their draft picks on defense so going after a top QB shouldnt be in their plans but maybe they can find a steal in the final days.

I'm still surprised Kelly opted for Bradford over Foles, so....

Seems to me they got Tebow to maybe be Mariotta's backup? I can't imagine Philly running a system that could accommodate both Bradford and Tebow so I'm assuming Bradford will be part of a trade to move up in the draft to reunite the former Duck QB with the former Duck coach.

With teams now maybe going for it more on 2 pt conversions for PAT, might be a smart move on tebow now.
