anyone that says tebow is not a good passer, is incorrect.

This should be the correct order, and Tebow should run away with it.

If I could pick the Dolphin draft. I would pick Tebow as a future for my #1 pick and wait two years to acrue the benefits. His ability to throw the ball & escape the rush is astonishing. His running ability eclipses Vince Young.
I think he'll be as good a left handed QB as the NFL has ever had. Frankie Albert & Ken Stabler will have some company.

Lay off the late night crack. Tebow's running style is completely different than Young's. Tebow won't last 5 years if he attempts to run in the NFL like he does in college. On top of that he's not a pure passer. There are more than a hand full of current college QBs that I would draft aheaad of Tebow for the NFL. I agree the kid is amazing in college, but he will not be a good NFL QB. Besides, Young isn't an NFL comparison any college QB wants. He's been terrible this yr.

I know Daniel had a great night as I was on Mo ML. There is a tendency to give it to a great running back over QB's and I still think McFadden deserves it and will get it. It doesn't mean there are not other great players around. It is also irrelevant how great a pro player any of them will be as it is a COLLEGE award and not given to who is expected to best pro player or go first in draft.

I agree. I don't think anyone ever said he shouldn't win it because he's not a good pro prospect. He's obviously had the best statistical year of any player, but is that enough?

I guessed you missed the 40-49, 361 and 3 Chase Daniel put up tonight.

If Daniel has near this good a night in the Big 12 Championship game and Mizzou beat OU, I think he has a solid shot. It's been a very long time since a guy from a team with 3 or 4 losses has won it. As a matter of fact, when was the last time this happened?

I think a junior or senior will win the Heisman. If Tebow was in that category he would win or if Florida was 10-1 but since they had a down year after winning the National Championship I don't think the voters will see him as the front runner. Chase or McFadden will win the Heisman but Tebow had the best stats

Barry Sanders? Andre Ware? Detmer? Rashaan Salaam? Not sure how many losses each of them had.

Bulldog, I disagree, I think the tendency is to give it to the highest profile player (typically the QB) on one of the 3 or 4 best teams, and Daniel is the only guy that fits that profile this year.

Look at the last few winners

Troy Smith
Bush
Leinart
Jason White
Carson Palmer
Eric Crouch
Weinke

All of those guys were on top 4 (all but 1 (Palmer) played for an NC the year they won).

I think McFadden is the best player, but it rarely goes to the best player. Especially when that guy is on a 3-4 loss team, he would have had to have a remarkable season. Of late it has been the best QB on the top 4 teams. Daniel has been pretty fantastic all year (~4000 yards, 33-9 TD/INT, 70% comp %, 8th in QB rating) and, while UF has played a tougher schedule, they are 1-3 against currently ranked teams beating only Tenn with Tebow playing pretty poorly in two of those games. I'

I would vote

Daniel
Tebow
McFadden

My vote today in order:
D. McFadden
C. Daniel
T. Tebow
P. White

This was easy. I've watched them all and McFadden stands head and shoulders above all. You beat the #1 team in their pen with a performance like he had elevates him to the top. Tebow TD stats for rushing are misleading. Florida doesn't use their running backs like 99% of the teams do.
