TCU comes in winners of 12 straight and 20 of their last 22. Imp5ressive both home and away. USM comes in undefeated in C-USA play, 14-5 in the last 19 at home but only 9-9 ATS at home. TCU is 2-1 in the last 3 between the two teams.

Defense
Both teams boast decent defenses although USM has been very suspect against the run as teams have averaged 4yd rush while TCU gives up only 2.5 per rush. TCU gives up less than 93yds/GM on the ground while USM is at 166yd/gm. The big difference between the two teams is in the Turnovers. TCU has created 24 (9 fum/15 Int) TO's and lost 15 (8 fum/7 Int) while USM has created 22 (13 fum / 9Int) and lost 20 (11 fum / 9 int).

Offense
TCU by far has been more productive offensively as they rush for 206 yd/gm and pass for 227 yd/gm compared to USM rushing for 128 yd/gm and passing for 206 yd/gm. I like what I have seen from TCU from the stand point that no one mentions the injuries that they have had to overcome this year and last. They have played for most of the season without their starting QB (Tye Gunn) and starting RB (Modkins). They have struggled at times but have continued to win and make plays when needed.

Lean here is to TCU in what I don't think will be that close of a game.

frog-- i really like tcu but usm is fired up too! i honestly think a team like mia-oh or boise st is better than tcu. too bad they both suffered a tough loss earlier or they may be #6 in the bcs right now.

All fine points. I just don't think that the USM offense will be able to run on TCU defense and when USM has to throw they have not beenm very good at it. Remember their QB is still a bit young. He's also play with a heavy heart this week so he is really going to have to harness his emotions for the game. If he can't expect TO's for points.

But here's the kicker....
USM boosters made a commercial that was running locally there based on the Mastercard commercials. TCU team was showed the commercial that USM boosters are running locally in Hattiesburg. The commercial is a "MOCK" of the Mastercard commercials.

Cost of the A$$ whipping that the Golden Eagles are going to put on TCU "PRICELESS". Shows a couple of USM players in the endzone doing high fives and all.

Frog players have seen this commercial. Expect ESPN to show the commercial during pre-game tonite.

Note that TCU is 2-1 ATS versus USM with win both in Fort Worth and Hattiesburg. USM only 9-9 ATS at home in last 18. I love the fact that Frogs are 12-5 on the road last couple years. Add to that they they have won 20 of their last 22 including 12 in a row.

Of course...it's just my opinion on how I am playing the game. And I agree that Boise and Miami O are outstanding teams. I could talk about this until I am blue in the face. I see that Notre Dame will be allowed to get a bowl slot if they finish 6-6, while UConn 9-3 gets shafted even though they have beaten Wake (at Wake) and had NCST beaten had they not thrown a pick returned for a TD that was the game winner.

PAC 10 teams won't play Boise and Big 10 teams won't play Miami, OH. Both OSU and Purdue tried to back out of their games this year with Bowling Green but behind the scenes there was such an uproar that they went ahead and played. I do believe they were able to get out of the return trips to BG though.

Thought I could start a bounce back on this game (-66.3 units YTD), got pissed in the first half and drank about 1/5 of jack. Missed TCU's 1st TD and onside kick while puking, saw the comeback only to have my hopes for a great night destroyed by the fumble.
