[h=2]EXCLUSIVE: ‘It's not been announced that Jessica is not walking, but it was a direct request from Taylor that this be the case if she were to go,’ one well-placed insider tells Confidenti@l about this year’s show in London. Hart made a comment last year thought to be a dig against Swift after her performance at the 2013 show.[/h]
Taylor Swift couldn’t shake this one off.
The singer returned to perform at the Victoria’s Secret fashion show this year under one condition — that top VS model Jessica Hart stay far from the sparkling runway at Earl’s Court in London.
“It’s not been announced that Jessica is not walking, but it was a direct request from Taylor that this be the case if she were to go,” one well-placed Victoria’s Secret insider tells Confidenti@l. “No one can know that Taylor requested Ms. Hart not be in the show. They want to keep that under wraps, but that’s the facts.”
Our source says that behind closed doors the singer gave Hart a Swift kick in her perfectly sculpted butt. Taylor had her team remove the Australian stunner from the spectacular show during talks that again landed Swift the coveted gig at the event.
After last year’s production in New York, Hart took what was perceived as a dig at the “Blank Slate” singer, saying: “God bless her (Taylor Swift's) heart. I think she’s great. But I don’t know, to me, she didn’t fit. I don’t know if I should say that.”

Hart later told Vogue Australia: “It was taken out of context, but I have certainly learnt my lesson.”Following her comments last year about Swift, it was reported that the supermodel would no longer get Victoria’s Secret assignments, but her contract with the firm’s Body by Victoria line continued, and she is still working with the lingerie giant.
At the time, Victoria’s Secret chief marketing officer Ed Razek told Confidenti@l: “There is no truth to the rumors that Jessica Hart has been fired or that she will no longer work with the brand.”
“As you will see, she was a great part of our show and we look forward to continuing to work with her,” said Razek last year. “We at Victoria’s Secret and all those involved, including Jessica Hart, were thrilled to have Taylor be a part of the show. We look forward to sharing her performances next week during the television special.”
Razek stuck with his story on Tuesday, telling us, “There is absolutely no truth to this rumor at all.”
Besides Swift’s demand, we hear there was even more behind-the-scenes drama for the 2014 Angels. When the nearly 50 models landed at Stansted Airport in the U.K., they had to wait three hours to get through customs due to paperwork problems.
“There were tears and complaining, everyone was tired,” another VS insider tells us.
Thankfully, the ladies landed safely with no catfights, despite learning that the more famous stunners — like Karlie Kloss, Alessandra Ambrosio and Lily Aldridge — were assigned to the front of the plane, while lesser-known models were sent to the back.
