New here, not claiming to be an expert by any means but I have been on these forums for years... I've been watching the SEC and am an expert on that.
So here are my week two picks, I would love for some of the members here to critique my pics and give their opinions. Been looking really hard at these picks, stats, history, and think I have the best bets...
Went 1/1 last week btw...
Teaser:
Florida -14 and Notre Dame -5 (I don't normally do teasers, but I could not resist it with these two point spreads.)
Florida: I think the Gators are firing on all cylinders right now, and Eastern Carolina just barely beat the mighty Townson... I do not feed like I really need to go into depth any further here, and they are also in the Swamp.
Notre Dame: I think the Irish go on the road and dominate again...UCLA put up 351 passing yards on Virginia last week, and Notre Dame put up 313 on Texas, they also ran the ball well with 100 yards rushing, and their defense looked good also. (Could there be an argument that Virginia was a better team than Texas? Maybe, but I don't think it is significant) So far I like the Irish here.
Straight:
LSU -4
The Tigers are not going to lose their first game of the season, and they are not going to barely win by 4... It just is not going to happen... They have one of the best RB's in the SEC a great Oline, and they have a solid defense. Being on the road scares me a bit, but I still think they win this by a TD.
Georgia - 20
Georgia: Chubb didn't have his best game against a nobody team last week, but I think that was just first game. I think he opens it up huge this week and there will be no stopping him. Mr int, their QB actually managed the game well and didn't make any costly mistakes, which I think will continue this week. Ga covers this easily I think.
Arkansas -22
Arkansas is scary right now... (This is coming from a die hard Bama fan), they are likely going to beat us this season. The only chance and advantage we have is that we have them at home) Allen is a solid QB that rarely makes mistakes and Collins can run the ball well. Toledo's first game got cancelled so this is their first game of the season. Arkansas is hungry and wants the West this season.
Thank you all for reading and best of luck to you all this week!
