New here, not claiming to be an expert by any means but I have been on these forums for years... I've been watching the SEC and am an expert on that.

So here are my week two picks, I would love for some of the members here to critique my pics and give their opinions. Been looking really hard at these picks, stats, history, and think I have the best bets...

Went 1/1 last week btw...

Teaser:

Florida -14 and Notre Dame -5
(I don't normally do teasers, but I could not resist it with these two point spreads.)

Florida: I think the Gators are firing on all cylinders right now, and Eastern Carolina just barely beat the mighty Townson... I do not feed like I really need to go into depth any further here, and they are also in the Swamp.

Notre Dame: I think the Irish go on the road and dominate again...UCLA put up 351 passing yards on Virginia last week, and Notre Dame put up 313 on Texas, they also ran the ball well with 100 yards rushing, and their defense looked good also. (Could there be an argument that Virginia was a better team than Texas? Maybe, but I don't think it is significant) So far I like the Irish here.

Straight:

LSU -4

The Tigers are not going to lose their first game of the season, and they are not going to barely win by 4... It just is not going to happen... They have one of the best RB's in the SEC a great Oline, and they have a solid defense. Being on the road scares me a bit, but I still think they win this by a TD.

Georgia - 20

Georgia:
Chubb didn't have his best game against a nobody team last week, but I think that was just first game. I think he opens it up huge this week and there will be no stopping him. Mr int, their QB actually managed the game well and didn't make any costly mistakes, which I think will continue this week. Ga covers this easily I think.

Arkansas -22

Arkansas is scary right now... (This is coming from a die hard Bama fan), they are likely going to beat us this season. The only chance and advantage we have is that we have them at home) Allen is a solid QB that rarely makes mistakes and Collins can run the ball well. Toledo's first game got cancelled so this is their first game of the season. Arkansas is hungry and wants the West this season.

Thank you all for reading and best of luck to you all this week!

Maybe it's early in the week and season? I know I just got back from a little vacation last night and just looked at lines a little while ago.
With fam, it's hard to jump on sunday night lines on a holiday weekend. (Today's practically Monday)

I can never back a college teaser though.
One of my favorite lines of all time from a college buddy back in the late 90's when we first learned about teasers:
"Teasers? Now we can never lose!" classic Tippy...that was his nickname.
The similarity in your names actually inspired me to open your thread.

There will be plenty of chatter in the next couple of days.

Tappy, I hope you are right about arkansas. We are due one W over you guys!!!

As as of right now I'm on the UGA play and was able to get Arkansas at -21. I got hooked on teasers last year and got annoyed of them towards the end of season, so I haven't started them
back up this year, yet.

Yes, Arkansas is, and this is the year to do it if you do... Arkansas is stout this season and I still like them at 22... Also think GA is a solid play, I think Chubb has a field day. Only chance I think we have against Arkansas is our D line, D Henry, and the fact that we are at home.

I do not very often bet outside of the SEC, but I just looked at this... I can see them covering the 13 at home when they are clearly a better team than Ustate, they beat Michigan, and Ustate struggled against Southern Utah.

Tappy, welcome aboard.

We "talk" CFB quite a bit in the off-season...but during the season it's usually a bunch of assholes posting here with their "bet the mortgage" or "pick of the year" threads.

There's a few good "What we learned from Week 1" type threads or "Misleading scores" threads.

Keep an eye out on Roll Tide and Clover!!

Just added Tennessee +1... Add to the fact that Tennessee is at home, Oklahoma players have tweeted public statements recently bashing the medias love for the SEC. I think Tennessee will compete for if not win The East this season, and will get a win here.

GA is my strongest play this week. I don't think a lot of people watched the Vandy game last week given the much better games that were on. It was pathetic on both sides of the ball. Their offense and special teams were an absolute joke, and you would greatly overrate their D based on the numbers alone. It was a painful game to watch, and GA should be able to name their score. Given the strength of GA's running game, I don't think there's a way for them to call off the dogs. Vandy's D will be gassed by the 3rd quarter.

I agree totally 100%, and yes I did watch the Vandy game, and yes they are the worst team in the SEC right now. Chubb wants to have a break out game to boost his Heisman hopes, they have the OLine to do it, and Mister Int is not making mistakes this season and managing the game well. Ga also has one of the top LB cores in the SEC right now, so yeah, it is gonna get ugly for Vandy.

Hope we are right on GA. I also have them as my top play on Saturday. Vandy is going to have a long season and it shouldn't be close unless GA falls asleep from disinterest.

LMAO! That is actually a possibility... Vandy is so bad, I mean it is just pathetic... Chubb is running for the Heisman now that he realizes he has some competition with Henry, so he is about to have break out performance. It shouldn't even be close.
