playersonly69 said:My last win of $130,000 had the 3% taken out so I didnt feel the need to tip. I did give $600 to the pool dealer toke jar and that was about $500 more than the guy who won second and he won $52,000. I ONLY did that because I know the dealers really well as I play live action at that casino 2-3 days a week. Since the tournament, most of the dealers have came around and thanked me for the extra tip that really wasnt necc.
Well this doesnt help my case much, but I forgot to mention that the final 5 all agreed to give $600 each to the pool. Now that is still less than the 3% normal tip, but that was the deal even had I won only $15,000 as well. I did give the tournament director $50 as well. But I realize that it is a low amount for a tip, but that was our deal. I noticed that the second place guy only gave $500 tip and he won $52,000 and he agreed to give $600, but those agreements are not exactly binding

If you are playing for fun, by all means tip 3% or even 5%. If you playing to make ends meet and pay your bills then tip what you must. The house doesn't tip you when you lose on a suckout or you get dealt K's against someone's aces.
