Shouldn't have been such a shock

TB had better power, better speed, better front four starters, better bullpen and better defense than did Boston

Versus Philly, they have a bit less power, equal speed, a bit better front four starters, no advantage in bullpen and no notable advantage on defense.

Not near the mismatch as with Boston.

Barman, we got owned. Just sour grapes on my end. I knew from the regular season games. Tampa has great D and manufactured runs well. Boston left men on base as if it was the object of the game.

Ayuh...and we may just have blown our needed energy putting away Boston and winning the AL...the Rays certainly seem to lack the defensive focus and timely hitting that carried them through the first 173 games.

Rays a bit of a letdown after beating Red Sox. Don't even look like the same team.I think its over tonight.Rays just drained.Pitching hitting and fielding look listless.
..but like they have said, they are at their best when things look the worst.
Hope they respond.
