It's a gorgeous day in Florida so I'm headed out to TB Downs - here's a quick look at some possible longshots.
Race 1
SLEW'S TEMPER (12-1) should get the hot pace he needs when OHNI hooks up with PARADISE HEIGHTS. 5.5f might be too short, but if the price stays above 10-1 he's worht a shot.

Race 2
DONTASKWHY (8-1) was bloodied by much tougher in Ky before entering here in Tampa. I don't like that he hasn't worked on the track, but Hyland is deadly with shippers and who am I to second guess?

Race 3
COPPERGOLDN'SILVER is lone speed and should make a mockery of this field, but she's got a reputation as a quitter and if Bell can't keep her focused today then look for CATNABOUT (9-2)to be positioned for a run.
The bet: $10 WPS #10
Race 5
SENTIMENTAL LAD (3-1) isn't really a longshot, but I figure him to have an even money chance to win this thing so anything 3-1 or better gives me the warm fuzzies.
The bet: $30 WP #8
Race 6
The only poor showing for PARIS PAST (6-1)on the lawn was against stakes company at Hawthorne. This is no stakes company.
The Bet: $20 WP #4
Race 7
For those of you unfamiliar with Earl Begley, he can train horses very well. First off the claim he is dynamite. JAM FEU (15-1) needs a hot pace, but I am convinced Begley has him ready.
The bet: $10 WPS #7
Race 9
Margolis brings ALL AMERICAN BLUE (4-1) in from Miami to toy with this field. Not disappointed that Castillo hops on board.
