Yet they still don't get enough support Fish. Bay area better act fast, or another city is going to inherit a solid, upcoming team......

Unfortunately, no Fish, but have several friends that say it's great. Fish, if people don't starting showing support soon......they're gone buddy.......

HACHE-

This is where Kyhawk, Jones, yourself, and I should meet up at.....a Lightning game!

I plan on going to a few games down the stretch plus catch a few playoff games also.

The games are a blast and the pre-game festivities outside the forum are super.

Used to go to 15 or 20 games a year when they sucked. Now haven't been there last year or this year yet.

That last year I went to 2 or 3 games and I lost my ass just fooling around with pucks. Already by then had completely shifted over to hoops where I have had much better success.

That's the thing about this that is regrettable. In my case forsaking a game I played quite well as a kid and loved my whole life for one that I didn't much care for before.

So I stop betting hockey and I stop watching it. Sad. Still follow it in the "fishwrap" though. [My final tribute to Chris.}

I'm up for it for sure. Probably the best idea for an "RX" Florida get together yet. But we're spending more time planning this get together than Gruden does a game plan. Lets "just do it."

JUST A LITTLE REMINDER OF WHAT I STATED HERE AROUND 4 MONTHS AGO

Since this time, there have been no less than 100 of you say they didnt stand a chance, citing such reasons as they are not physical enough, didnt employ the modern day trap defense, were from Florida, etc., etc.

Well, think they have proven they are a contender

Monday night will probably be the last game for quite a while. I don't know how they can beat the incredible hockey of game 6 but these clubs just might.

Great possibility of a Lightning win and the Cup staying here for two years. And no hockey next year may in fact be a blessing for Tampa Bay.

Under the current salary structure, the market
limitations down here and Mr. Davidson's tight purse strings, forget about any dynasty thoughts. Marty, Brad, Vinnie and others would not be long down here. They would end up Rangers or Flyers or such....ugh, especially if they win the Cup down here.

Now if hockey should come up with a unique salary plan to keep players with small market clubs and halt baseballization of the sport, this great game would certainly become stronger in the US outside of the northeast.

This club down here has dynasty written all over it. The stars and supporting cast are all youngsters. Now it is up to hockey to see if we have a flash in the pan followed by a fire sale or a Cup contender for years to come.

The latter would forever cement the game in the psche of this community. More rinks would be built. More little Bubbas would learn to skate and score and the Buc's would no longer dominate the fishwrap and sports talk shows even in March.

The former will just hasten hockey's doom down here. But for now we have been given a treat to savor. LETS GO LIGHTNING!!!
