They're terrible and to think they squeaked past the defending World Champions to participate or better yet spoil this year's 'fall classic' is a shame. They're no match for the Phillies, a team who supposedly came strolling in to represent the National League with a suspect pitching staff. Yeah right!
It's unfortunate, betting aside, that the series is so boring and one-sided to be frank. Had the Bostonians represented the American League, I do believe there would have been a hell of a lot more excitement accompanying their involvement.
Unfortunatlely for the public, game seven of the American League final turned out to be the difference maker in the excitement that would have been as opposed to the boredom we're currently stuck with, you know, sort of like the many Super Bowl duds that have taken place over the past couple of decades.
Only this had to be a best of seven.
