Today is going to be fun to watch.No doubt a crapshoot.New smaller plate,not practiced by anyone before the impound.Newly resurfaced track which calls for never before used tire combination.The impound itself which requires the cars to qualify in race trim or face a penalty.This sends some of the best cars towards the back,which is always a risky place to be at Talladega.But...I must gamble anyway:

Lil E To win +550...had the fastest overall time in happy hour and he said it handled superbly.Qualifed lousy but wont mean much IMO.He'll get to the front once the drafting begins.
McMurray Top 3 +700...also a fast car in practice.Im not sure how much the new plate will slow these guys down but Im hoping it slows everyone down equally.
Jarrett Over Truex Jr -150. Old Martys 3 for 4 in DNFs at Talladega with an avg finish of 25 vs Dale J,last years winner and outside pole sitter who in 10 Talladega races over the last 5 years avgs a 9th place finish???Sounds too good to be true...but well worth the risk.
