So after months of betting ncaa ball I find myself up 600 bucks. Missouri getting points seems like a good spot to lay it down???

Mizz is athletic and explosive. I would not want to bet against them. UCONN is big, but a little slow. I could see Mizz rattling them here.

Agree, thinking about 400 with the points and 200 on the money line.

Be careful with this. I like Missouri but I am as big of a homer as you can find. Not sure this is the game to drop all of your profits on Mizzou. UConn has been pretty dominant so far and to risk all of your profit on the Tigers is not smart. Take the Tigers ML for $100 if you want and you will have $800 to roll on the last 6 games of the tournament. Lose you still got $500 to roll with. Just my two cents.

Actual reasoning why this might not be a good bet. UConn has 2 veteran Pg's in Austrie and Price. They should be able to handle the pressure. Also I think that a lot of the buckets the Tigers got against Memphis could get swatted or altered by Thabeet. Again I have faith that the Tigers can beat UConn but I wouldn't risk all of my profit from the year on this one.

Im a big UConn fan, but staying away from this game. They are bound to lose tonight or F4. 5.5 isnt enough imo to back Mizzou though

I agree, but I seem to do better when laying all on one team. I see where you are coming from, but I have rode your Missouri team since the Big 12 Tourney started and they have done well for me. Gonna do the 200 and 400 only because I figure if I lose then I am where I started minus 60 bucks!!! Don't talk yourself out of this one just b/c you are a homer. I firmly believe that they are the better team.

I don't think Mizzu's press will bother the Huskies. Their game plan will look a lot like their plan vs Louisville, and they beat the Cards press pretty easily. I think AJ & Austrie & Kimba Walker will thrive against the press while Sticks & Thabeet get a lot of dunks off of transition and a constantly pressing defense.

Conversely, the Tigers have never seen a team with UConn's combination of size, athleticism, speed & talent. The teams that give UConn the most trouble are bigger, stronger & more physical teams. We beat the likes of Louisville & Villanova & Marq, but have trouble with a Pitt.

I think the sixth man, coaching and adjustments, may be the difference.

I respect Mizzu, and I know they're very capable of winning tommorrow, but I certainly don't think you can consider Mizzu to be lock city.

Willie, I certainly do not think they are lock city. I respect all of your opinions but I am gonna take a stab all the same. You can all bash me after the game and the opinions are truly appreciated!

This is my first ever post, also my first ever major play on a WNCAA game. Im hitting close to 77% over the past 6 days after a split Friday. The Games at 2:20 PM so if you gamblers want to build the bankroll for the late games you should jump aboard this easy win, Maryland Terps over Vandy. My insight: I went to the same high school as Kristi Toliver, my girlfriends little sister played on the girls team along with Toliver at the time, I had to go watch a lot of their games, so I have been watching this girl play for 8 years now. She is hands down the best in WNCAA, and will lead Maryland all the way. Toliver is a freak, she can shot the three ball as good or better than Davidson Stephon Curry.... Vandy is without its leading rebounder and 2nd leading scorer Hannah Tuomi she went down a month ago. Also Maryland had just won the ACC tourny in Greensboro, now they get to play in NC again, they have won 12 in a row, make it 13 after they crush Vandy by at least 10. Last year Maryland beat Vandy 80-66 in round 16. I bought the line down to -2 for -140 have $2800 on game to pay out $4800. MARYLAND -3.5 Buy some points! Good Luck

I love people make posts how something is such a lock but spend absurd amounts of money buying a few points

Well, I think the line is well set. Mizzou has heart, I give them
that but teams similar to mizzou are Gonzaga, Nova, and Marquette. I really see the matchup with Uconn and Marq. very similar.

Scores are 88-83 Zags
89-83 Nova
93-82 Marq

All wins by Uconn. Tread lightly, again Mizzou does not have a
good defense, but can score. Uconn has a better defense, but
I think the over is the best play here over 149.5

lightsout joins the forum tonight to post a play in the wncaa in a thread that is all about the men's tourney. number one why not post in your own thread & number two your full of shit. maryland has no shot at beating uconn. i hate women's hoops but uconn isn't losing in this junior high tourney.

coitus, missouri is 11th in defensive efficiency, 10th in turnover% & 49th in effective fg% on defense. i'd say their pretty solid on defense. they are not similar defensively at all to nova or gonzaga but maybe marquette.

dg...how so. They gave up 91 to Memphis and 79 to Marquette.
During the season, they were ranked 133 in defense. I don't see how Uconn cannot score at least 75 or more on Mizzou and Mizzou
scoring at least 75 points themselves.
