Taking Duke +150 tomorrow for my biggest play of the season

Disclaimer: I lost my last huge play.

Oregon surprised most of us this season by "earning" a 1 seed in this tournament. They're at 2 or 3 at best. So they beat a 16 seed and an 8 seed (barely) and now have to play Duke which struggled for a short time during ACC play. Now they're playing at a high level with a coach that's been there over and over again. Oregon will have to rely on their outside shooting against Duke's zone and I'm betting they won't be hot enough to keep up.

I thought about taking the 3-3.5 points but if I'm predicting Duke to win SU there's no reason for me to bet scared.

This guy seems to make a lot of asshole comments so it's just par for the course for him. Oregon looked great in the Pac 12 finals but it was against a Utah team that got blown out in their first NCAA tourney game, and then the beat a terrible Holy Cross team. St. Joe's had Oregon on the ropes but couldn't finish and to Oregon's credit, they hit some big threes late. Duke is very capable of winning this game and if they are hitting from the outside, I could see a fairly easy win for them. GL on the play.

The past is the past and while we use that information to help us make decisions in the furure it doesn't dictate the results. No need to get hostile and question my intelligence. It's gambling for fuck sake, there are no guarantees. I have a career and this is a large gambling fund bankroll bet for me, not life savings.

Not saying Duke won't win, but your argument about Oregon only beating a 16 & 8 could be turned around. After all, Duke barely beat UNCW after trailing for quite some time & barely hung on to beat Yale after leading by 25. I wouldn't say Duke is playing at a high level, or at least, it's tough to prove. 6-4 in their last 10 with wins over UNCW, Yale, FSU, Wake, NC St. & UNC. Obviously UNC is a top win, but it happened a month ago. Losses to Louisville, UNC, Pitt & ND. I think seer said that Oregon doesn't have the rebounding, but Duke isn't exactly a juggernaut in that area. Oregon actually far exceeds them in overall rebound margin. I personally think that category is a wash. Neither team plays much defense, so it should be entertaining. I'll likely be on the over. GL with the play.

I appreciate the construcive feedback. You're right, Duke has had an easy first two rounds as well. I agree Duke doesn't rebound well either.

For me this is a classic play of choosing the better program or the better athletes. Duke of course being the program but I think Oregon has superior athletic talent. I think Oregon wins but good luck with your action!
