Taking a Look at the Thanksgiving Games...With Picks

Since I might not be around on Thursday, thought I would just talk about Each game in the next two days.

First Up...at 12:30PM EST

Tennessee at Detroit

Line : Tenn -11 44.5

Yes, the Detroit Lions were "Giving" False Hope Early on this past Sunday.
But in the end, they gave their Fans Nothing to be Thankful for.

At the same Time, The Tennessee Titans were getting their Asses Kicked by the Original Titans...The NY JETS

Well Fans for Both Teams might be Happy this coming Thursday.
Well kind of..?????????????

Seattle at Dallas

Line Dallas -12.5 46.5

Yes, the Seattle Seahawks Almost looked like a Real team last Sunday. Leading 17-10 vs. Washington at the end of the 3rd quarter.
But you just knew that the Redskins would find a way to win it, and they did !

On the other side, the Dallas Cowgirls...I mean Cowboys, were beating up the SF 49'ers
Tony Homo...I mean Tony Romo was back like his old self. Throwing for 3 TD's and 341 Yards

Now I know you really can't compare these two teams. One, has been going backwards since day one of the season.
And the other, was left for Dead in the middle of Oct. Because Romo was out with a Pinky Injury.
But it's Looks like the Cowboys are Back.

But here is the thing I see, The last 4 games these teams Met. The game has gone Under the total. Also, the last 6 out of 7 games have gone Under the total.
I think the Total here is Too high. I also think that The points are Too much.

My Early Pick here : Under 46.5
My Early Lean here : Seattle +12.5

I'm not sure the past has much of an effect on that Seattle/Dallas total. Completely different teams than the last 7 meetings. I don't see ANY way that atrocious Seattle defense can keep the Girls under 25-27 points. Can Dallas keep Seattle below 20 points? Definitely. Will they? Hard to tell. JJ will be starting for Seattle and while he'll probably get yanked for Morris, he should come out with a little fire against his old team.

Completely different team ? Not sure about that. Some of the Main people are still there. ( even if Alexander is not ) He was at No help to them anyway in those last 3 games vs. Dallas.

My point is that Different people look at Stats a Different way.
You hear, what you stated a lot from people ! Not the same team, how can you go by Stats from the past 2,3 or 5 years...

My 2 cents is that Most teams do Not change the way they play.
Maybe and it is Only Maybe, if a New Coach comes in and plays a Different way from the way they played before.
This also must be a whole New Staff, ( New O coach, new D coach, etc)

Add in, that you would need a New QB, maybe a New RB ??
I think you get the idea.

But it seems that most teams have somekind of Pattern. So the other team will adjust to the way that team Normally plays.

Again, this is Only My 2cents. And only use Stats with about 20% of my Capping.

I guess it could have been a Very bad day, but I will take the 3-2

One thing is for sure, The Lions Suck and most likely the Worst team in the NFL.

Seattle can almost fall in line with the Lions. But they are Near the Worst team in the NFL. Still think they have Hope though.
