Switching back to Verizon DSL

Comcast cable keeps needing to be reset lately, it sticks all the freaking time. Good riddence.

I'm paying 61.10 for 4.0 mbps which it isnt even that anymore.

Verizon now offers a 3.0 DSL, which is what I just placed an order for and it's only 29.99 and that is half as much as I pay Comcast. The kicker is that he said they also have a 7.0 DSL, but it's not available in my area yet.

Can you get 360 with Verizon DSL? Do you live out near Worcestor? They can't do any better than 7mbps?

Have Verizon at one office and ATT dsl at the other. Both have been promising me the higher speed forever, or at least ATT has. Have had them for over eight years and they keep saying they will be able to satisfy my higher speeds soon. Yes sure.

are you in boston? im getting reemed by comcast to renew service for another year and am thinking about verizon, but how slow is dsl compared (im computer illiterate)

DSL is much faster now than before. Being in the Boston area, you might even have FIOS available to you. And that is faster than any DSL or cable.

I would call Verizon and just tell them you would like the fastest service they have available to you and I'm sure you'll be happy with it and have some extra $$ in your pocket.

They had me pay 40$ for the modem but they broke the payment for it into two installments on my phonebill, I am still coming out ahead though.

Seems like the local 'default' provider usually sucks.

The only way my dad can have TNT with his comcast cable in HD is if he purchases a package that costs 40$ more. It's absolutely criminal.

Geez, what a price, called them yesterday and the best price they could give me is 49.95 for the slow version.3.0. They told me in a year they may have a price reduction.
