Florida has themselves a real mess. They are known for taking kids with major disciplinary problems. How many did they suspend last season? I believe that a total of 9 Florida players were suspended and eventually charged with felonies in 2017. That is from stats I received from SI. How desperate is Florida? They have already had one suspended (Justin Watkins) and it certainly looks like more are on the way. Now we all know that the huge influx of minority players is going to lead to an increasing number of suspensions for disciplinary reasons. Like it or not, that is a fact. What is so amazing is that it seems as if Universities are now planning to lose so many players to suspension. There are approximately 79 players who are either suspended or no longer on their teams for reasons other than medical, and just 58 for medical reasons. That is a disturbing trend that gets larger every season.
